Is beverage distribution viable today? No. The market is way too complex and the requirements on all fields are way too high too make big bucks. Profit margins on big brands are LOw but you will need them and they expect from you to grow turnover. You'll need costly storage and trucks or vans which eat dollars if they do not leave the company with an overload. Staff is expensive, licenses and insurances too. Stock costs a big dollar. Risk on theft and perimated goods and accidents in manipulating are high. Your own investment in labour will make you turn 7 on 7 and 20 on 24. It is too complicated and the margins are too low. A very good advice. The only way I see you can earn a living by working when others wont is to produce something yourself. Cookies, waffles, sweets. When that starts selling open a dining and serve your cookies with a good marging to customers. Be sweet with your customers, whatever issue there is. Some of them are real jerks. Don't invest in ads of all kind. Mouth to mouth is the way to do it. Bonne Chance.
Motivation is developed in childhood. Once motivation meter is set, it does not change much in adulthood. Unless a life changing event happens, of course. I agree wiht those words 100% This presentation is extreamly valuable to leaders from all industries from all backgrounds.
