I often find myself not taking action as my mind convinces me that I haven't done quite the amount of preparation necessary.
This is how the trueism of “It’s always the right decision to do nothing in the short term” manifests.
The human mind is pre-programmed to default to doing nothing, as no change is the safest option. I find I have to overcome this continually as-when I don’t-it costs me in the long term.
Of course, we must be prepared. But being 100% prepared is nearly always impossible. Often, taking action (and even making a small mistake) is where the learning and growth happens!
