I recently watched this, and was so excited about trying this dating site! I’ve been a widow for twelve years, and have tried just about every dating site out there. I’m not having luck finding men in my area. Unfortunately, it was no different with Hinge. I did widen my search this summer, and met someone who lives 1-1/2 hours away. There was incredible chemistry between us, and even felt we were kindred spirits. It’s just too difficult for me to be that far away from someone, and neither of us are willing to relocate.😢
Sorry you didn’t have better luck with that one. I tell all my coaching clients they have to experiment with the different apps. Not at the same time! Because it really is dependent on your age, demographic in general and location. Different apps attract different people of different ages in different areas.
People move for jobs but less often for love. Isn’t that weird when you think about it?
I think it’s different when you’re retired. I’m 64. My two children and seven grandchildren live nearby, so this is where I want to stay. Any suggestions on dating sites for a 64 year-old retired woman? I’ve tried Match, Zoosk, Ourtime, Silver Singles, and Facebook. I only do them one at a time. I keep seeing the same men on almost every one of them.🤷🏻♀️
I think I would explore meeting people in real life. Check out some of my episodes on where to meet people.
Matching your clothing with your coffee cup is fun! I work at many different client sites, and they all have different coloured access/ID passes, so I have fun matching some part of my clothing with them. (I don’t usually tell anyone about it though, but other people sometimes notice and mention it.) I think being playful in as many areas of life as possible actually makes us more interesting and fun to be with and that is great.

News Flash: HALF of the women I match with (after the women have actually made a conscious effort to match with me) flake out on the 1st date I've set up. Without meeting me, they cancel the date....Flake.

I have been on Hinge for around 4 months -- 95% of my likes/responses are from guys under 30...so annoying. I don't know why this happens, my preferences are 45 - 65 in age range.
You have to turn on age as a ‘dealbreaker’ is my understanding. And then no one outside your parameters will be messaging you
