Wow, the show started off tight, you guys got right into it. It'll be hard to keep it this engaging and high level through the whole show, but it's possible. Enjoying it way too much so far, I don't know why I find Gaz so entertaining and informative, I just do. He remind me of my friends in high school.

Man this is crazy!!! Why can't we have more shows like this. This high quality is hard to maintain, it's like a high revving engine, you can't rev high all the time and sometime it's just luck when good topics fall into your hands. With Xbox though it's been a full 2 years of content to explore, can't go wrong talking about the gaming business, Xbox, the Activision deal, the competition between Xbox and Playstation. Nintendo and it's unique type of gaming, it's long history, it's vast amount of IP, 3rd and 1st party. I haven't forgotten about PC gaming. We are a massive, unique, niche community and fortunately and also unfortunately the vast amount of the population of the World is going to discover us and want in on us and that could change how unique the community is. Look at us now though, we are something to behold. Remember this everyone; because it could change, it could become just another platform or community, not the unique artistic niche it has always been.

If there was a (gaming) competition about content creators who make the best/smartest/logical arguments/conclusions Everborn is THAT guy. I genuinely love listening to him. No disrespect to Hoeg or anyone else but Everborn is the guy I could listen to nonstop about the Activision case. And Kasante is such a great person, so respectful and mature. Like seriously this channel should have been at 10k already, people are missing out. Even though I share a lot with Gazs point of view on things (very critical of things we like) I just wish his arguments were stronger.

I get the feeling that for this community/platform in this gaming space to thrive legitimately, some of you are going to have to quit your day jobs and become fulltime influencers and youtubers. I imagine most of you won't since it would be difficult to make 250 thousand dollars or pounds a year to support yourself and/or your family (factoring in inflation and all with our current and future economic struggles). Only then might it be worth it, though being in the mix and helping to make our community legitimate is what makes it worth it for most.

Scoring a game based on categories isn't hard. GamePro and EGM did that 30 years ago. Not sure why you social media kids think that putting a score AT THE END of a review makes the entire written review pointless.

This pre recorded right? I think I heard you guys say that somewhere.

If seeing a score turns you dumb than maybe it isn't the scores fault

I get the first party thing, but I think many still do not see what Xbox is going for. The console gaming industry calls out for first party exclusives but the 3billion that are not console don't care. Xbox is generating a new and different crowd which is more into gamepass hence why they are still so relevant.
Another thing that irks me is this management nonsense. Kevin Levine's game was first mentioned in 2017. Starfield was shown in 2018 and might have released 2021 or 2022 if they were still independent. that is 3 to 4 years after being teased. Ubisoft has had the Prince of Persia remake still in the works and many publishers are in the same predicament. I don't understand how studios bought in 2018 ending are supposed to have games out in less than 5years with the Covid issue. Triple A games take time and money

WOW!!! I can't believe we're in 2023. This is the year of Starfield. This is the year Xbox is supposed to run riot on the gaming industry. This is the year they're gonna flood us with so many games till we beg them to stop. #XboxGamePass !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No one who critically thinks, formulates their own opinions, displays general pride in their functioning brain (meaning, not afraid to be themselves rather than a drone) cares about reviews. The only time people bring up reviews is when they want to dispute how good or bad or better a game is. Often times, foolishly between games of completely different genres. Review score conversations are a console war thing.
Everyone always likes to talk about giving respect to other peoples opinions, often times mention & explain how a review is nothing more than an opinion, yet in the same breath make reference to a review score. Just stop talking about review scores. No offense to anyone in general, but with an intent on being candid, generally, people aren't independent, or intelligent. People tend to follow trends or whatever major platform a & b tells them to like. Reviews and review scores are no different. A tool for herding folks who don't make opinions for themselves.
