When I saw the phrase "Chinchilla cookies", I knew it had to be one of three things: 1: Cookies made in the shape of Chinchillas (my first though) 2: Cookies made FOR Chinchillas (what actually happened) 3: Cookies made FROM Chinchillas (because my brain is stupid, but tbh seeing Chip in the mixer kind of reinforced this lol)
I know this isn't a cooking channel (unless the chins wanna open their very own ratatouille restaurant) but man, this was satisfying. Very calm, concise, pleasing to the eyes. And with that precious chef at the beginning. ❤ Binging all your videos now.
This is a precise step by step of making chin cookies and the best of all Knoxy one cool chief assistant ❤️🥰👌. These cookies are healthy and safe for them because it is homemade .
I would just add to not use the same grinder that you use for your own coffee 😂 But I love this! Your channel really makes my day even though I don't have chinchillas.
💗Another great upload.~ Healthy cookies for chinchillas look really delicious.~ The chinchilla eating that cookie is really cute.~ Always take care of your healthy.~ Nice video.~ 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🙂🙂🐹🐹
Are the cookies only for chinchillas or can you use them for other pets? I have a hamster. Can he eat this cookie too? Or is this dangerous? Because, I want cook the cookies. 😊😊
As hamsters are omnivores, they can't digest hay the same way chins can, but if you leave out the hay and use hamster pellets as the base you can make them great for hams too 😁 Hay isn't dangerous for hamsters or anything, it's just difficult for them to process, so it's not something that should be in their food ideally, but not dangerous at all if they do eat them 🙂
Awh that looks awesome! I did something similar making a birthday cake for my gerbils 🥰 Just one quick question: I assume by "200 degrees" you mean fahrenheit? I was half expecting burnt nubs at that temperature in Celsius 😅
I wonder if it's like dogs & chocolate, i e., It's dangerous in large doses, which is true for some of the foods humans eat too... So maybe the small amount was ok. I'm pretty sure these cookies are only an occasional treat.
this is so cute. how many of these per day can they eat? I'm assuming unlimited, since it's basically pellets and hay but I'm not sure about the flour, that's why I'm asking ❤️✨️
I was going to ask the same question! @chinpals - Do you have any suggestions for daily/weekly allowance because of the oat flour? Trying to avoid rotting our chins' teeth out because I know they'll be SO excited to eat these when we make them in our house!!!
This is great! Thank you for sharing! I have a question, though. You mention that you made another batch with apple. Do you mean actual apple? How did you prep the apple for the recipe? Did it replace the pumpkin or hibiscus? ...ok so it was more than one question, I'm sorry. Lol
I stumbled a little when you said 200° and later said low heat. Then I realized you probably meant 200° Fahrenheit? That would only be 90°Celsius. This is a really cute idea, I definitely need to try this at some point.
Little chef Chip kills me!!!!😭✨❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I couldn’t believe it stayed on for so long! 😆
I have a
@@chinpalsChip loves to bake chocolate chip covered chips ✅

Hmm honestly I’m not sure, I don’t know enough about hamsters to say for sure either way! I might just Google if the ingredients are safe first :)

You could probably sell this recipe to zoos as an "Herbivore Training Cookie" under the brand name "ChinTreat"?
I think Chip was worried that “chinchilla cookies” meant chinchillas made into cookies, lol

She just kill me i gonna die 😣
OMG!! We actually have a chinchilla as a class pet! Hes Lou and looks exactly like Henry!
Mandatory disclaimer: No chinchillas were hurt in the production of these cookies.
I love the baking video can’t wait to try this recipe for my chinchilla. I was wondering what the tool you used to mix the water and pumpkin together?
It was just a little dollar tree hand mixer! Like the ones you use for hot chocolate! 😆
I want to make these for my chinchilla how long do you bake them in the oven
Hi I love your chinchillas can you make a vid of talking about them and playing with them like the chinchilla notebook did
Thank you! I will add that to list 😊
ohh i didn't know chinchillas could have pumpkin!! cool :DDDD their own pumpkin spice treats lol!
No they can't. It's actually not safe for them.
@@SuperSapphireStone Thank you!! I was like... “wait, this is no bueno.” They won’t be able to tell us when their stomach is aching from such.

Do I have to add hibiscus?
The pumpkin, is that like a puré? I´m in Sweden and we dont have the same cans of pumpkin. I have two chinchillas and going to bake cookies for them.
Do you know if Guinea pigs can have this to because I have…
6 of them 😂but I love them with all of my 💗💖
But can they have pumpkin puré? I thought they couldn’t have stuff like that.

No apple, just the shape! Haha Thanks for asking because going back I realize it sounds like I added apple!
What can we substitute the flour with ??
That’s looks yummy

Do I have to use hibiscus?

This is not a safe treat! They CANNOT have that much oats in one go! And pumpkin is a big no!
