Dragon's Dogma 2 is the most disappointing game ever for me. It has more unrealized potential than any game i've ever played. It could've been on the level of Elden Ring if Capcom gave it 1/100th of the love they give their other franchises. It's insultingly unfinished and full of completely baffling design decisions.
For me DEI Age Failguard is the biggest disappointment. Bioware used to have excellent writing, story-telling, and character development. RIP Bioware, well done, EA!
veilgaurd is a frankensteins monster of a game a modern day skinwalker game wearing the flayed skin of the series to mask an abomination the fact an older game kingdoms of amalur in its base form not even the recent rereleased version w new dlc shits on veilgaurd hard as fuck shows bioware is dead and ea hilariously isnt the one who killed it!

The ammount of views might not be there but the ones that are always appreciate the blunt perspective after you have put in the time and effort. Cheers
Agree 100%. And what made them so infuriating is how great they could have been. I still have hopes for Stalker. Poor guys have suffered so much, they deserve our patience as they continue to work on it.
i know you dont like hack and slash games, but poe2 was massive disappointment for me - i had high expectations about it unlike for d4. Endgame mapping is straight dogshit, balance and crafting is non-existent. Can't see how they are supposed to patch it in 6 months to be half as good as poe1. I uninstalled it after 60 hours, while I could spend solid 200h on good poe1 league. I haven't played other AAAA(A) games this year and I don't think i've missed much.
Playing it still to eventually do the early acces full review. My biggest gripe so far is annoying difficulty. Fighting against bosses for long periods and then if the boss' fart connects instant death for me. Such a shame that another game with good gameplay (rarity for this genre) is being destroyed by cheap difficulty.
@@rpgdivision I'm hoping they'll keep up with the frantic balancing they're doing for (particularly) melee classes. I'm having an absolute blast with my Mage, and my partner is loving his Mercenary. A couple of friends are loving their Sorceresses too... but Melee is really struggling. It's a pity, because the one shotting and body blocking don't seem nearly as crippling for the more traditionally "squishy" classes as they are for the big, tanky melee classes. In general though, I'm loving the difficulty, the story and the gameplay. Fingers crossed they can tweak things to give the same experience to melee players. That's what Early Access and beta testing is for I guess. I just hope people who are struggling are actually submitting feedback, so they know what to address in upcoming updates.
Agree with the 3...personally felt cheated with the "2" in the case of Dragons Dogma... A Pseudo Remake, somehow in some aspects worst from the original release even if the concept was copypasted.
Absolutely agree on DD 2. As a fan of DDDA... I also miss memorable locations, more quests with Elves / Dwarves or STORY BUILD UP TO THE FIGHT WITH DRAGON!, Where is the BEST LOOT IN THE WORLD? Exploration so bad.... Lastly Combat is... serviceable. They didn't improve on it however some classes feel worse. Mage with less spells, and skill slots... archer cant use daggers and bow it's now split.... bad clothing / armour system. It's not a bad game in a vaccum but it's as average as it can get. Also yes. Play with MODS. No weight is a MUST, No stamina consumed when outside of combat is a MUST too. Cheaper port crystals are next.
@@rpgdivision When it comes to disappointment then I agree with your statement but then again you have Veilguard example where dialogues/writing is bad to the point where it’s not opinion anymore to say it’s bad…it’s just fact
