You are one of the very few channels I go to concerning RPG game reviews, guides and overall knowledge. You don't bs around and you get to the point. That I truly appreciate. Keep up the great work.
Hey RPG Division, thanks for the vid. A side note, your videos are showing back up when I log in to TH-cam, maybe the algorithm has been fixed. Play some drums!
I finally played Wasteland 3 with all DLCs about 4 months ago. I can't remember a single bug or technical problem with it during my playthrough, so I'd say it's quite solid nowadays. DLCs added some new (DLC specific) mechanics, which can be a bit hit-or-miss depending on the player. Playing through BG3 currently and, yeah, game is kinda easy even with honor mode added. Although some of the (early) boss fights in honor mode can be brutal.
I cant agree with Ragnarok, it was so boring I ditched it after few hours. Pillars 2- I also didnt finish it, I just hated pirate theme. I do agree wtih Gta5, BG3, Witcher 3- awesome games. On my 10/10 list except these 3 I would add: - Bloodborne (definitely my fav From game) - Diablo 2 (best hns ever) - Doom/Quake (nostalgia vibes and shooters when fun mattered) - Warcraft 3 (best rts ever?) - Planescape torment (best rpg ever?) and maybe first RDR and Last of us (sequels were disappointing though).
What score did you give DivinityOS2 back in the day? That was the big breakout game for you in terms of your content creation imo. Can't remember playing another game and feeling like everything was so good. Witcher 3 is still so good and you didn't even mention Gwent. I never finished W3 because I got so distracted by how good Gwent was.
Wasn't interested in Gwent tbh. Divinity OS2 I didn't review for some reason. Might've been before the reviews started that I was covering it. For me it's a 9 but I can see why people would give it 10. Both scores are realistic.
@@rpgdivision What was the other channel you were doing stuff for before you started RPGD? I think that's where you had all your guides for DOS2 and why you didn't review it here. Anyway, that's how I found your stuff and have been happy to follow you and your recommendations since. Tired of these moron kids working for the big outlets that spend their whole day fluffing devs. Adults with time budgets can't be bothered wasting time with these vapid shit games, especially when they're designed to collect money from parents' credit cards.
Thank you, mate. Appreciate it. DOS2 is on this channel. Everything is. I wasn't interested in reviews at that time. Didn't even occur to me at the time it was something I'd be capable of doing.
I'm biased because I think everything Sony does is overrated just because of their brand and seeing "gow ragnarok", a 2nd part that basically copies the 1st game is a 10/10 confirms my bias. LOL. I dind't know some of those games, i'll check them out.
Baldur's Gate 3 is impressive on many levels for sure but in Chapter 3 the game started dragging soo bad, I just wanted it to end. And then the ending felt so disjointed, probably as a result of all the different choices it needed to take into account. It's also the only game I ever played that made me feel like I need to take a shower, with it's juvenile over-sexualization of everything and everyone. At times it's like it was written by a 15 year old. Started out as a 9/10 but ended as a 6/10 for me. Not a game I will ever replay.
I’m going to have to check out some of the games on this list. Chained Echos looks especially interesting. I almost think Cyberpunk deserves a 10 after the 2.0 update (at least in my mind) if you have not checked it out since launch I would recommend it
Witcher 3, for me, is that game everybody loves but you bounce off it. I've attempted so many playthroughs it's pitiful. The Red Baron quest is one of the best quests in any game, but it just doesnt grab me. Maybe someday.
So you gave these games almost the same score as Ign (I won't check the other publications you name dropped) and you're somehow the beacon of truth in this world. Ok
to me (even with nostalgia) there is no game worthy of 10/10 and i won't count trash level of release (because then even baldurs gate would look more pale than my sun avoiding legs) there are games with potential to become one but none of them ever reach that level those that i played from your list witcher 3 (curse of number 3 in gaming) 1. i would not give it a 6 because of weak writing everything feeling disconnected 2. bad boring and unrewarding exploration 3. combat and crossbow (i don't set combat high on my priorities and still consider it to be pathetic while crossbow was bad and worked differently depending on target and player's location) 4. transportation with idiotic horse and quickly falling apart ships 5. disappointing expansions 6. somehow worse crafting than in previous game 7. climbing far worse than in first gothic (my favorite thing to laugh about) deadfire 1. being a watcher was seriously lacking in importance since it was switched towards being a herald (and still unimportant) 2. some imported main quest decisions were ignored 3. could seriously use more content 4. questionable idea (or at least execution) of ending wasteland 3 1. having own morality seamed pointless 2. mandatory choice after first ride out of city 3. many main and side quests presenting multiple options while having only one that works (for example denver ruins) 4. kodiak serving only as a combat companion while unmovable outside of combat made it almost useless from both being always far away and having almost no movement points 5. first expansions was such a disappointment that i have decided to not purchase second one baldur's gate 3 (they support players voices with actions and that alone is worthy of a point and who knows how many things will still be fixed/improved or added) 1. karlach questline is still unfinished and since she is a companion (and not something far from side quest) then i don't count this game as COMPLETE 2. there are 2 paths to enter chapter 2 and one in my opinion starts chapter way too early (were you looking for githyanki) 3. chapter 3 is full of nostalgia but seriously lacking in content 4. ending section and ending itself feels more like severely cut content (not to mention solutions) 5. getting room in a city is the worst mistake because that removes that great view of incredible camp rogue trader (best 40k game but (so far) weakest owlcat game) 1. despite of title and (allegedly) managing own trade empire there is no policy system 2. you have humans and both types of eldar and chaos and necrons and tyranids but NO ORKS WAAAAAAAA (literally) and so far all announced companions are humans (don't feel like 40k scenario) 3. only a few colonies and colony projects that don't add anything of value (even when description suggest otherwise) 4. it's weird to complain about such things but to me there are far too many skills to the point where i either don't know what to pick or lose interest entirely and click at random things to just level up and forget about it 5. necrons were promoted as the great enemy since first teaser but have practically 0 value and and are placed only in beyond return ending section 6. all endings are disappointing when it comes to companions fate and those with romance seams to be written as if romance (and most decisions) never happened 7. some companions have completions of their questlines in point beyond return (which is idiotically bad decision) 8. (personal) playing psyker is not very interesting since the most interesting powers are related to weapon skill and there is no alternative in form of techpriest 9. apparently some secret companions don't have their recruitments finished 10. trade system is a huge disappointment 11. as great as first expansion is there are many choices that seems to give exact effect (no matter if it's moral or faild or succesfull choice) and others don't matter at all (smells like a lot of unfinished content) 12. even with added few ship sections it still feels seriously lacking in importance
@@ryandavid1277 No, it's not understood. When have I mentioned other creators outside of SkillUp and Mortismal? Great selection. I really hope to see a Wasteland 4 after InExile is done with their current project.

After playing rogue trader I can’t continue playing wasteland 3, the combat and character building is day and night
DoS2 fan, me, in shambles. I'd replace BG3 for Dos2, i cant with the D&D mechanics.
