(Probably) unpopular opinion I started watching this after being heavily disappointed with DV3 and I think this fan game is 1000 times better than the last game from the actual series 🥲 Also TYSM for the translations you're out here doing gods work 😭🙏

So for the first scene : He was saying if you got no problem with forgiving her (satsuki) , haruhiko said "can you give me my two meals back then?" , for the second scene you pointed : Mekaru is referring to Taira as a pig. Since she (mekaru) named Haruhiko and satsuki pigs before in the previous scene where they ate everything. Also don't worry, if you got any questions i'd happy to help more in the future 😊.

I really disliked the starvation motive in Game 2 Case 4, and I still dislike it now. It lacks any and all subtlety or finesse. It's not a temptation of evil like most motives. Oh you killed because your were starving? That's not morally ambiguous, it's just cruel reality. It also sets up an easy "I killed to save everyone" excuse, which also feels shallow.
