I don't think the brakes don't work. It's more that they used to, but now that the ESC has pushed each one above 1000 degrees in a desperate attempt to keep the car under control, the brake pads are now in your lungs in the form of air.
Make the rear fenders as wide as possible and fit wide tires You could include it in the next video Cuz lets be honest That thing could be awesome But it is completly undrivable Also you could make the suspension slightly stiffer Edit: the exaust tips are sticking out of the car too much But thats just my opinion

I have one Automation car in BeamNG with 2850PS. Top speed is around 520km/h after tweaking aerodynamics&suspensions carefully. Used the 3.1m Sedan chassis that looks like Bmw. You need a front engine chassis to pass 450km/h without crashing. Rear engine chassis are bad at extreme speeds.
I've built many cars with no purpose but to end the lives of as many people as possible in Automation. Usually with names like "The Gaboon Venom" or "The Mortvagn"
That being said I spend even more time trying to maximize MPG, without totally tanking the usability of the car...then failing and driving around in a maximally accurate peel p50 in beamng to calm down.
I know a guy who has a foxbody Mustang drag car tuned beyond anything I've seen in Automation - he's running a 2.3L 8V SOHC 4cyl making around 1600 HP on 80-90 PSI of boost at 10000 RPM. The block is stock to the car, obviously everything else is heavily modified.
One thing you can do is set a car very far in the distance and then tell your car to chase it, then manually change the gears as you want so it doesn't wheelspin. I like to hit q as soon as I hit the chase button and then shift up way to early to prevent it from spinning out. I like to do this with high horsepower cars and make them go as fast as I can.
