    Use brakleen and a toothbrush to clean your threads prior to turning them. Very important.

  • @HawaiianZeus
    @HawaiianZeus 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Threw these on my 23 tacoma along with the deaver stage 3s. I cranked the driver side till my threads were exposed 2” and did passenger side to 1 5/8”. This got me level all around the truck, and it sits fairly tall now. About 8.5” from the wheel to fender. Im running 285/70/17s.

    snapped the included red handle spanner wrench off on the first turn! I knew this would likely be a problem so I ordered a second one ahead of time, luckily I got it for free in the end. This is unacceptable, if I didn't have the extra I could have been screwed over for a week or more waiting for another! I had to resort to using a 22mm socket on the end of my extra wrench to get good enough leverage on these brand new coilovers for adjustment even with thread lube and it still took forever.

    • @EibachUSA
      @EibachUSA  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      We've not been able to replicate snapping the wrench on old used or new kits here throughout multiple tests with randomly picked wrenches, but it is something we are looking into to improve the design.

      @@EibachUSA Well, my extra wrench worked fine and I was able to adjust what I needed without it breaking. I have no reason to lie about the first one snapping off at the weld on the end at first turn, it sucked.

      This happened to me a when i bought this kit a couple years ago . The wrench snapped and the tip of the other tubey tool bent of how hard it was to rotate. Eibach was good to send a replacement but I agree . We need an improvement asap. Id like to adjust mine but don't want to deal with that happening again so I'm stuck with the rear a bit higher than i want .

    Long-time procrastinator here... finally got around to adjusting my 2.0 coilovers on my 2017 Taco Sport 4x4 to 3 inches height so that my 33's could finally clear in reverse/full wheel crank. Hi Tanner, or Eibach. Is it possible to LOWER the GX 2-3” using this kit, perhaps with shorter/softer springs? My folks want to trade their Avalon for a GX but my mother has mobility issues and the stock ride height is too high. This would be a low mile usage vehicle for a retired couple who might pull a boat once in a while (updated rear air likely necessary). I’ve suggested Highlander, Venza and Sienna but they’re very interested in the GX for its Lexus factor and the v8. Thanks!

    When I adjust this on my tacoma, the spring also turns with the collar. I'm assuming that's not right? Not only that - but I exposed more thread in an effort to raise .25 inches, and it appears nothing happened. I even marked on the center of the wheel hub to make sure I wasn't going crazy - and sure enough, there is no change. I don't understand how that's possible
