I cannot use my MacBook Air M2 easily without my large print keyboard as I’m low vision, and pretty severely such. A no name brand off of Amazon, but it works great.
The MX Master mouse is bigger and takes more space in a bag. But if you use it for long hours it is better for your wrist and it has the gesture button. For me it took about two weeks to get used to it, because I was not used to palm grip mouse. But once you get used to it, it feels much better. And the gesture button is really good for the same things you probably use the trackpad for (quick moving between spaces, expose etc.)
Instead of the power unit you suggested, the HyperJuice 66W smart charger is as good, USB-C and USB-A, and MUCH smaller. Good Choice on Logitech S2 but the new Logitech S3 and S3S (silent) family is the way to go. I use the MSOFT (sp) foldout stand without the adhesive (I would never adhere it to an expensive MacBook. Nice review, keep 'em coming.
🐬 Informative Video. 👍 Was just wondering out of sheer Curiosity that How much multitasking do TH-camrs do that they need so many displays, An ultra wide + MacBookAir + iPad combo for a desk setup 🤔 😁 With so many connections including Battery packs / Power banks. Cheers and e-peace...
🐬Great job with this video. The two items I liked the most are the mouse and the cleaning kit. None of the others will apply to my everyday use. The accessory I cannot do without on an everyday basis is my mini desk fan 👏🏽
🐬 great video! I’m going to have to check out all of the products you mentioned. I have a miniStack STX device from OWC for my iMac desk setup (adds thunderbolt ports + 2 hard drives - m.2 & 2.5/3.5). Haven’t tried it with my M2 MBA yet so I’m not sure if it supports multiple displays. Quick question though - does that Paperlike cleaner work on the keyboard as well?
Sneakers & backpack. My M2 MBAir is dedicated to editing on the go (in Cature One session/travel). 1 external SSD for backup & final archiving at home (in Capture One catalog). Voilà
🐬Great vid - I'm soooo jealous of your external monitor! 😂 I want to take a second and recommend a few Anker products. I have a 19,200mAh power bank from them and it's comfortably charged both my M1 air and iPhone 11 pro max simultaneously. They've also got a portable usb "swiss army knife" usb-c hub with USB-A, gigabit ethernet, and HDMI. It's a lifesaver when I'm on the go. Other than that, I really like the old school "magic mouse" - I have a decade old one that still takes AAs - it's beat up but works like the day I got it. Cheers!
The ASUS produce some great external displays. I have had the MB16ACV unit for some time and it is a high quality build and the colours are great. Excellent as a second screen when integrated into my Lightroom workflow. Always travel with me.
How about the under laptop fan for the Air M2? What would you suggest that looks like it wad designed by Apple. Every laptop cooler fans look plastic-y and cheap.
Hey friends, do you think the base model of m2 macbook air would be enough for coding or should I upgrade the ram to 16gb. I’m an IT student and I do some tensorflow or pytorch python codes. And the second question is, is it better to upgrade the ram or ssd, due to its slower ssd on the base model? But something that bothers me is the price of MacBook air m2 with 16gb of ram and 512gb of ssd, I could buy a m1 air base model + an iPad air m1 for that pricing. Which one should I go with? The upgraded m2 air Or base model of macbook air + an iPad air.
If you haven’t already purchased and you are in the US I would definitely get the base MacBook Pro 14”. Best Buy has it now for $1,599, $100 LESS than the M2 Air with same ram and hard drive.
🐬There are good suggestions for anybody. I really liked that Espresso display! I have to get a set up. I tried to use my iPad Pro but it is not the same thing at all. It is just too clunky in any mode Apply offers. Iff the new Apple Studio Display had an easy portrait option on a native stand I would consider one of them. Great video Fernando.
Bro... I am going to say this for the millionth time... you TH-camrs need to clean yo Shiz before you film it!!! It's so yuk and annoying to see your items all gummed up, chicken fingered and the finger lint! And the inch of dust... I mean you want us to admire your cinematography tricks and transitions etc etc but then your HD and 4K shows all the dirt yo! the pube by the USB C shook me!
Just bought the MacBook Air M2 myself. So far I love it!!

🐬Thank you kindly, may I get your advice on my future plan to add Apple Mac Pro Book 2 on my internet access in addition to Windows?

Smaller isn't the point -- having the extra power ports and the built in cable is actually its own benefit.
Sharkgeek Storm 2 lite (power bank), can't live without that during long business trips
🐬 good stuff. I cant wait for a cheaper alternative to the brydge pro dock for m2 air, plugging and unplugging my air is becoming an annoyance lately.

Great suggestions. Thank you. I’m more curious about super wide external display? It perfect!
🐬Nice video! Good real world stuff. Thanks!
"Vegan leather"? Really? Not long ago we'd simply call it plastic...
I wonder if a mouse is needed when I am not a multi screen person. There’s just a macbook air that I have on my desk.
I have been using the Logitech Anywhere 2 mouse for the last 3 years. Only Micro-USB charging device I own 🙂
haha same!

Thanks. Appreciate the recommendation 🐬
Hi. Which configuration of MacBook air m2 do you use? And which one do you recommend?
Tnx

Love the monitor
Why does anyone use a mouse when the trackpad is better than any mouse?
i like the mouse for point and click and then trackpad for gestues
