One thing I've noticed with accessories aimed at the Mac market over the years, they're generally built to a higher standard with more robust materials than the "PC" equivalent. They're essentially the same thing otherwise in most cases, just made of say aluminium instead of plastic. Even if the material isn't anything more fancy, the design tends to be a bit more refined if nothing else.
Great review of the appliances! My wife is using a Fellowes microban ERGO keyboard that has faulty keys. Do you have a review of ergonomic split keyboards with self serviceable or replaceable microswitches for a professional typist? Thank you.
Hello from Southern California! Your videos are so well made. I appreciate the product reviews because I am a complete novice with technology. I have viewed your videos and subscribed as well.
I think I'd get the OWC 40Gbps NVMe enclosure since it's a reputable brand and I believe that model is backwards compatible with USB-C non-Thunderbolt ports. Some 40Gbps I think only work on Thunderbolt 4 ports.
I'm getting 2000 mbps on a macbook pro m1 16 inch formatted for Mac. My USB C cable is high end. I don't know how you are getting 3000 mbps with the Qiizlab enclosure.
@@craigneidel I'm using Kingston KC3000 with USBC 40GBPS cable by iCan. I ordered OWC Thunderbolt 4 cable today from Amazon. Maybe the cable is the bottleneck.
I mean, I didn't know about these specific brands, but I sure knew all of these things existed. Bluetooth keyboards? SSD enclosures? Headphones? High speed cables? Is this channel for people with an average age of 70?

Some are for sure but these off brands can be hit or miss depending on what you pick up. Thanks again for watching the channel.
That dual SSD enclosure would be sweet if it was 40gbps
Yes hope they do that soon

I don't have that but thanks for watching and the post.

Thanks and I appreciate the sub.
You’re a beast talent! Keep it rolling! Learned a bunch from your channel. Thanks heaps for all the hard work!
Thanks for watching the channel. I appreciate it for sure. I'm glad to hear people like the videos.
Where in the world do you find all these things?
You are putting a serious dent in my checking account.😊
Funny. I try and find different products to try out each month. Thanks for watching.
Great video. Picking up the headphones now 🙌🏾
@@fletcherwilliams5947 great thanks for watching the channel.
Great video !
Appreciate that and thanks for watching.
Could you introduce the wrap for your macbook cover?
I did a full video on that - th-cam.com/video/U-V0G4WqfLM/w-d-xo.html - thanks for watching.

There are a ton of options out there. This is just one but works nicely.
Check the Zike Drive. Smaller than this one, USB4 and fast. Tool free opening and N2 swapping.
I might get that one sent to me soon so we will see. They are all similar for the most part.

I provided you with my test setup and I'm showing you the test. I'm using the SN770 and not sure if you have that or not (1 TB version).

Maybe but I guess it could be the drive also but not sure. I use the SN770 for most setups and they work great on these.
Mac OS had to be updated. Speed is now 1000MB/s faster. Thank you. It works at 3100MB/s
That dual bay nvme case, you can do software raid on your Mac.
It's two different plug so don't think so.
It works, I do it. In the disk utility app, you can select any two drives and turn them into a raid doesn’t matter how to connect
Ok, I didn't try it on this device but I guess that makes sense.
4:18 It's pronounced Yotta as in "why I oughta!"
FYI Yotta is a numerical scale 5 above giga. gigabyte > terabyte > petabyte > exabyte > zettabyte > yottabyte.
Thank you.
Hi, Craig ! Nice video ! By the way, where is the beer ?… Oh, wait, it’s thersday 😂
I have my 1 .. maybe 2 beers on the weekend only...
@@craigneidel Thanks for answer. That’s the way I‘ll go. Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽
Thanks again.

It's the specific brands. Stick around you might learn something instead of listening to 20 year olds
