As someone who played the shit out of chasm, this was extremely accurate and as a zhongli main, I can confirm that his twerking was how I managed to solve those puzzles in the first place.

What is dark about this is that it explains how hilichurals and abyss order enemies respawn. They literally cannot die.

@@orrthehunter no, they still die when you murder them or throw them off a cliff or something. It's just that they get to live as old as Archons/adeptus until their Hard Disk gets full(erosion) and goes to chasm to spend the rest of their life eroding completely there. The Abyss Order taps into the leyline by holding leyline tree branches so they get to keep their consciousness after becoming such creatures which is why Dainsleif is the "Bough"(branch of a tree) keeper. Sorry for being such a nerd lmao. The respawn is just a game feature, nothing special.
@@kadyo90 dainslief already explained they cannot truly die even of you kill them. If it was that easy, they all would have committed suicide long ago to end their own suffering as Dainslief said.

As usual, memes on point, relatable to any Chasm experience, lots of things in there cracked me up so good, especially Zhongli's twerk and the Sneznayan's underground party. Also the yoshi island reference is adorable.

@@kaiserdragon33 it was actually the unknown goddess from the first cutscene of the game (which is almost a carbon copy of HoV in terms of design, so you're not wrong either). The joke is that a lot of people believe Paimon is the unknown goddess due to similar patterns in their appearances.
Poor Tortilla he just wanted to CHEEKI BREEKI at the STALKER camp but we know how it goes for Tortuga with Rawfler...

So the Abyss Order knew Hillichurl language, associate with them directly, constantly. The Abyss Mages resemble them...down to their death animations...
The signs were there. I picked up on that very quickly. I know Hillichurls aren't with the Abyss Order directly, but there was clearly a connection there, and ergo, a connection to Khaenri'ah. *Hillichurls are from Khaenri'ah.* I didn't think it was a secret.
Maybe the fact they were regular civilians? I kinda figured that too, but the reality of average citizens turning into monsters, not merely overnight, but over the course of centuries? That's pretty brutal. Y'know, might as well put them out of their misery!
I gotta admit though. I always felt at least a little bad beating up Hillichurls. In general, they seem like normal dudes when they aren't causing trouble. They dance, sing, just vibing. I enjoy beating up Fatui and loudmouth Nobushi assholes because I know they're evil, but Hillichurls? Not so much. I guess know a bit better now.
@@Aflay1 I understand. At the start of the game I saw them as you know the goblin enemies from zelda, who just want to cause troubles but after some time and story, seeing their behaviour I kinda felt bad commiting genocide on a kinda friendly race.

This is certainly a "certified chasm classic". Each sec is very accurate, from the memes to the animation. Top notch 1000/10 just like Halfdan.

That Aether's dancing with fatui made me doing similar moves in any incomprehensible situation (especially in evening)

that scene of Lumine just floating around Dainsleif like Paimon gave me a terrifying idea, what is Paimon isn't actually an old god, but a fragment of Lumine, and that's how she became "part" of Teyvat and the tree could record her. she lost Paimon which was her Decender bit. (and this also goes for Aether she is somehow part of him. would be fun but also terrifying knowing Paimon is part of the travelers sibling lol)

You really went in picking the best kind of jokes for the different game mechanics and Story beats. Zhonglie's twerking and the traveller walking into a Gas cloud while blabbering and complaining were my favourites(but there where SO MANY great ideas, very well executed).
