The official video of this song is crazy. He sings the song but the story is bizarre. Phil plays a musician and fills in for the guy in the movie who has gotten sick. Eric Clapton is part of the band and hams it up subtly. But the 'movie director' doesn't appreciate Phil's pain and passion. Bit of a comedy. Phil liked his farces and apparently so did Eric. The video is really worth watching.
Thanks for reacting to this song man. Definitely a late 80’s forgotten classic. Brings back a lot of memories. P.S. Phil and Eric were frequent collaborators.
I love the video. He's just some random schmoe on the stage & Eric Clapton "He used to be a drummer in a great band"... and the director says "I guess we can give him a chance"
Great reaction to this one Biz...would you react to ....If Leaving Me Is Easy..next..this is another one about his break up with his wife..so emotional how he felt... and yes you can really feel his pain and what he went through ✌️💞

Speaking of being introduced to music by cartoons... How many of us would like classical music without Bugs Bunny?
Eric f#@kin' Clapton. Slowhand. Nuff said.
