OMSI 2 | IVECO Bus Low Entry Family | City Variant | Saint Servan | Route 200

- Hello and welcome to another OMSI 2 video!
So we're back on the Saint Servan map for OMSI 2, and in the "city" variant of the IVECO Crossway LE. This bus is a great little bus, but is more specced out towards an urban style of bus rather than an interurban bus. The bus we're using today is in a Brno livery, and utilises the Voith gearbox so sounds a little bit different to the one we had before!
This addon will set you back £16.23 on the Steam store, and for that you'll get over 40 models to add to your game! Okay so that's a hell of a lot of buses, but are they any good? In short... yes! I think the addon is absolutely brilliant and well worth the £16.23 they charge! I think the map has also improved since I last drove it, although that could just be my new PC that's handling it better.
Anyway sit back and relax, whilst i'm blown away with how good this addon really is!

Re: Halycon. Halycon are just a publisher (a means for independent developers to get their content on Steam). Halycon publish the good, the bad and the ugly. For example, this bus is created by 'Kescrole', who also makes the IVECO Interurban Generation, which are pretty good. Then there's the buses by 'Salop' who Halycon also publish (like the Setra S31x), which are poor.
Great video. I’ve spent a lot of time in Brittany and there are very few imperfections in the roads.
I guess I owe the map makers an apology then 😄 I wonder if they could teach the UK a thing or two haha

You mentioned near the end of the video about indicators, I have a fun little fact for you: Did you know, in most, if not all, American and Canadian buses turn indicators are buttons pressed by the drivers left foot? Two large buttons at your left foot, one for each direction you want to indicate!

Hey Joe! Saint Servan is actually a real place, it is located in Brittany also the Crossway is really realistic to be honest, my city does use a lot of Crossways but they use the CNG variant and I think that the CNG vatiant is really underpowered even on flat road.

I agree with Joe in terms of the bus sounds in BS21, we have definitely been short changed.

@@JoeDobsongaming I 100% suggest trying some trolleybusses, they are pretty interesting.
@@JoeDobsongaming small update. The Brno transport company created commercial line to Lísek/Bystřice nad Pernštejnem and they use these busses on this line.
They have used Iveco's similar to these in the UK as school buses. And they sound just like this and were quite nice to drive.
I thought it was something familiar. You have driven this route the other way around with an Irisbus. But this was much smoother and better👍👏

Only four gears for the first Iveco there? Our 12 meter Crossway has six gears and goes 100 km/h easily on flat roads, still on slight inclines.

I sometimes drive the Iveco LE's and they are great to drive but I don't like stopping and picking up people in real life with this bus as it's actually a lot slower compared to the other types of busses I drive....

bus simulator 21 will always be superior to omsi 1 and 2. as games should never be that realistic. otherwise whats the point going on the buses in real life to hear them in real life.
it should be realistic if you are going to call it Bus SIMULATOR, BS21 is just a game its not a simulator
