I really love that body - I might have to get me one! That track really is too small, for 1:10, but you did good getting around it! The battery holders are moveable - two screws per side, and they will move in a hole to properly hold your shorty battery - just a tip. Subscribed!
Gary, love watching your videos. They have been very educational and help get me excited again for drifting on a micro scale which I find more suites the space available in my shop. I noticed the drift track mat in the video also shows up in one of your other videos as well. I have to ask, where did you get it and do you like it? Thanks in advance.
I’d actually go with something like the Saulitz Ring instead of Heckenhoim. Fewer corners but way smoother to drive, if scaled up to fill your available space.
The only company with really good aftermarket is the gl drift by gl racing. It's a really quality build even in basic format. The drift art 2 summer ed2. 5 is really good but parts options aren't as fluid when needed. The dwx3 is another good one parts availability sucks onb that one. Drzv2 has issues but good supply of options. I have my own personal favorite the xrx dpa sport that is not without its own faults. All of these cars need correct tuning even if ready built. The Set up is everything unlike the rmx that comes literally Rtr. I do ready built ready tuned chassis and shell but on a limited basis as its time consuming to build and tune. I got a question regarding the magnetic mounts. In the parts list there are only 2 pieces of regular M2.5x8 screws listed, but for assembly they want 2 additional M2.5x8 screws with a flathead. Were those missing in your package as well? Thanks!
@@GarageMiniRCUK you had 2x M2.5x8 normal & 2x M2.5x8 flathead? The M2.5x8 flathead aren’t even listed on the parts list, that’s what I don’t get. Do you have the footage of you assembling it?
Great video, thanks 👍How are the car holding up after 2 months? I'm considering buying one to see if I'll like drifting, as it is fairly priced. Would this RTR model be "good enough" to start out with, without having to spend big bucks on upgrades?
Hi , for me the great attraction out of the box was it works . It drifts . They test each car at the factory and send it ready to drift.I also liked the shell was painted already. Im looking at getting upgrades more for the review of parts .
@@GarageMiniRCUK Yeah, it's really awesome that they test each car. Should be a standard industry practice imo. Hope to see some upgrade reviews soon then 👍😁
@@GarageMiniRCUK Sorry to bother you again, but could you confirm which of the battery connectors are positive and negative. I don't see any markings on the esc at all. Facing the esc like you do at 9:54 makes the right wire positive, and left wire negative, yes? (the manual doesn't mention reverse polarity protection, so I don't wanna fry it 😅)
It comes ready to drift as a Rwd that’s a big deal . Usually you have to set it up . With Rwd m cars it’s all about the set up .so yes as it comes ready assembled it’s a good car . Long term it would be cheaper to buy a kit and build but it can be tricky with set up .

It's in the deception to one of the videos. Germany. They do lots of sizes.
That’s badass my guy, I have the actual HPI Vaughn Gittin JR version and I’m rebuilding the whole thing, this video is gettin me excited for it
Thanks I'm getting some hop ups for next video
@@GarageMiniRCUK haha hell yeah
I got the same setup except for a Soarer body and its amazing, I see that the magnetic kit mount is not in stock on many places
Where do you order it from I don’t wanna get it off sketchy website and get scammed
You’re able to move the battery mounts inward for shorty style batteries!
Thanks. Only saw that after I made the video. Will update. Thanks for watching.

You know I was looking at these before Christmas and they were $250 and the closer it got toward Christmas the more expensive they got
wife got me mine for Christmas present
@@GarageMiniRCUK mine got me a Mini Z
Awesome video, Welcome to 1/10 scale drift rc👍🏻
Thanks for watching 😁😎
I really like mine, i need to get it as good as my driftart SE. Dont forget they come with gold dots as standard, silver will slip more on your mat!
Good advice bro 😁
What’s your recommendation for a good rtr with good aftermarket support?
I’m looking for RWD smaller 1:18-1:28 scale

I don’t think so . All was present but was confusing .

Yes somewhere . I’ll check
@@GarageMiniRCUK thanks!
Good job ! What body mount setup is on the rear ?
It's the magnetic mounts from mst . I got the set that is made for the car. 👍
Can you put regular tires on a mst rmx 2.0 and use it to drive regularly, not drift?
Possibly but would have to reduce steering endpoints to reduce angles to stop it wrecking the car .
That last turn should be a straight away
Need a bigger garage 😂
Do they all come without body holes drilled? Curious as I assumed they would be drilled but I'm hoping they are not.
I'm pretty sure no body holes
Can you drive them out side on concrete?
Yes bud will wreck tyres but don’t use those then indoors as will then wreck floor

where did you purchase the magnet kit?
Drift manji
@@GarageMiniRCUK did you use extenders?
No
How can I get a track like this?
roll-rennstrecke.de
I’d go with Saulitzring though, and make it as big as possible, way smoother with wider track.
Where did you get your mst rmx 2.0?
Rc mart before Xmas
@@GarageMiniRCUK thank you

I know. I wanted back ones. 🤣
