The new servo is not throwing the back of the car out as violently which makes for better corner entry control and the lower servo speed makes it a bit easier to steer off the corner allowing you to get power to the ground and drive away from the corner. Some pretty nice info.
I just bought an RMX 2.0 about a week ago and I was thinking about upgrading the shocks. As you mentioned, the stock shocks don't keep the vehicle off of the ground too well. As for the servo, I'll probably keep that as-is for now. I turned down the gain on the gyro and it seems to drift much better. Before I turned it down, it seemed like I was always fighting the gyro when turning directions. Great video, you've earned a new subscriber 😊
Thank you for watching and sub Nathan appreciate it mate! I first thought about just upgrading to stiffer springs, but not just the springs are a bit soft i also thought it wasnt smooth also. Diffinitely worth the upgrade on shocks and made it noticeably smoother 😊👍👍
Brother you have done a Amazing job 👏 the difference with the stock servo and the new is well better, you can see the old one on the track was abit twitchy and less response for drifting, not that I know alot about drifting lol. Love your track 👍 really enjoyed this Video bro, hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas 🎄🎅 and a blessed New year 🙏
What up dude 🤙 cool video. I recently picked up the same car different body. I see you upgraded the turnbuckles. On your upgraded parts list on your video, what is the MST reinforced Adjuster set for? Also how many sets did you use?
Thanks for watching bro! Yeah so you will need the adjuster set because the thread on the set already in the car will be a right handed thread, when you install turnbuckle the thread will be left handed. You can force the turnbukles to the adjuster already in it.. but i would not recommend it ☺️..you will need to buy 1 set and you will use 2 piece hope this helps
@@maximhens3134 there is a hex hole for the alen key on one end but if that side doesnt come out then yeah use pliers, put cloth over the thread so u dont damage it incase you may ever need to use it again 🙂
Yeah man just make sure you reset yout end points and if you have a gyro that adjust end points do that too 👍 thanks for watching bro hope your subbed to the channel 👍🤜🤛
You sure are preaching to the choir when talking about those front shocks. I had to add inserts to preload the springs. And what made it worse, is the fact I have the FXX.. For those who dont know that means my motor is in the front. Which really drives the front down because of the weight. I agree on the Front adjustment as well. I have those turnbuckles on the way. Seems to be running better. Looking forward to getting my stuff now.
Thanks great video with some helpful tips. Going to change up the shocks on mine and start from there.

Just hold with some pliers bro.. stay tuned!
@@KingsRC okay cuz mine are on there way and i dont want to struggle

Very nice 👌 👍
Thanks bro 👍
If you add a new servo do you have to do any calibration besides reversing the steering

Bro make sure you order another ball joint thing for the front arm when doing the turn buckles, otherwise your threads will be opposite..
Not sure if the fxx is the same but i had to get these www.mrcplaza.com.au/products/mst-reinforced-adjuster-set-5-8-x-26
