Yea you have to be careful with these. A- Too many bleeding hearts online. B- I also don't see the problem with his yard lol. May look a little cluttered and junky but it was kinda unique.

To tell the truth, this gentleman has a meaning to everything in his yard that he did himself. Even when someone is doing something meaningful there's always going to be someone that has something negative to say about it.
You don’t see this in Germantown, so why should we accept it? Not from Memphis, look it up.

Who buys homes threw 😳 the court 😳 Second he didn't buy in a HOA for that reason someone other than yourself controlling how you live, maybe you need extra adults controlling you NOT him nor me so moss me with that. I listen to people say all the time I bought a house and I'm gonna get equity and the value this value that, ma'am not in all cases their value doesn't decrease. If a person see that it's no HOA 60% rather not have a HOA the other like yourself like HOA cause it says I'm keeping up with the Jones. Stop looking for value in everything when you suppose you live in your HOME not your neighbors yard. This says to me you don't have a life and what life you do have other people controls it. I live in an old neighborhood, no HOA. We have one Latino family that has a very decorative yard like that. Complete with a bunch of Catholic shrines, and Christmas lights all year!

I live in a damn homes owners association. Never even knew what that meant till I was told what flowers I could plant. I say let people do what they want as long as it's not hording.
I'd never live in an HOA!! I pay my mortgage, your not gna tell me what flowers I can plant or what color I want to paint my shudders or front door. And pay dues to have u boss me around! Nope! I found a beautiful home I wanted to buy when we were looking for my dream home and i walked away from it bc of the HOA@

I'm in no way a religious person, but at least he owns his own home, not a hoarder and messy like some of the people you serve, he's NOT being served, and minding his own business and seems to pay his bills unlike some of those you deal with. The last thing he needs is a government servant sticking his nose in his business.

Definitely a beautiful FRONT yard, this kind of stuff should be done in one’s backyard. It actually looks hideous and how can you truly enjoy that who goes to the front yard to set in peace and enjoy themselves? No one that I know of. Most people do it in the back yard and put up privacy fences to enjoy the peace

Some landlords have bought a house or two over the decades of their work life so they can have income after retirement. It is those who own the buildings I feel for. Imagine owning something you busted your hind end to get and you TRUST a person or family to move in, pay rent, identify quickly anything needing repaired and the whole nine yards. Would YOU want you as a tenant?? I mean, I flipped houses for a few years and I got people into their OWN homes with little to no money. I can easily say these people were half "Woe is me." types and the others were, "OMG this ROCKS!" people. Who do you want to insure your future to?
Don't let your life pull others into the vortex of failure, you will keep better care of your own life and gain the respect of those who trusted you to live up to your word. A handshake isn't just an action, it is a signature of promise to honor your word. In fact, the showing of the open palm is as old as humanity, it shows the one who accepts the shake that YOU mean no ill will or more importantly, you haven't a weapon. If you want pity, open that palm to your church or otherwise before you hurt a person who trusted you. Human Up!
The irony of the fountain constantly spewing water but the grass around it is completely dead to the point it's a fire hazard around it

I think if people are always complaining about the design or landscape of another house, they should buy a home in an HOA. That’s what I do and people have to get landscaping land additions or exterior changes approved, it is just easier and not that this would bother me but some people are very petty

Reminds me of My Big Fat Greek Wedding where the Greek father was SO PROUD of his heritage his house & yard looked like the Parthenon & had every Statue & flag & tribute to Greece 🇬🇷 out there - and it of course embarrassed the American born daughter. BUT she later came to appreciate & respect it all.
