Man....tenting in the rain sucks...especially setting up and breaking camp....but I will admit...love the sound of the rain on the tent at night!...great video...thanks for sharing...stay safe....ride safe!!😎👍🤙👍🤙🇨🇦
It's really a great video. I love the pace. I'm concerned that YT is going for the "shorts" and "stories" , which is for a different audience. This is a video that should be watched on the big screen. Put's us right in the campsite with you. Great work.
YT has definitely been leaning towards shorts. The algorithm was not programmed to know the difference so it stopped promoting long form videos once it saw that shorts were getting views.. supposedly they've fixed it 🤞 let's hope so. Thanks for the kind words in this one, stay well.
I'll ride through a campground first. Find a site I like and a couple backups, then go register and ask for the site I want. So I can build it the way I like. Thanks for the vids.
Great, great camping video off the bike. No matter the weather, I’d always opt for the bike over my pick up. I like the idea of parking my bike closer to my tent, just sayin. I always need an excuse to ride! By the way, your bike sounds like a beast out there, and looks like a brand new bike! How are you loving it?! Love those old, remote, sweeping highways you get to enjoy back there!
Hey man, I think for the most part it is pretty decent, especially if you can grab it on sale. It offers many of the features that I looked for when I bought my main tent for motocamping. It rained ALLOT overnight and it did let a little bit of rain in on one corner as you will see in the day 2 video which was a little disappointing to see but not the end of the world thankfully. ‘I will see if I can waterproof the seam where it was coming in and hopefully that will fix it. I also want to see if my other tent has a seam in that same area cause I have not waterproofed that one at all and i have never had rain come in but that tent is twice the price of this one so I guess in this case you get what you pay for. If ‘I can get that seam waterproof than I think its a great tent overall and a can of camp dry is a small price to pay for a pretty decent tent in my opinion.
I got to get me a new camp chair for the bike. My academy sports special, is terrible. And i need to get ready for my fall/winter bike camp trip, but looks like im goingbto arizona fir couple weeks. So may not be very much "fall" feeling weather til dark. Safe travels sir!
It was a company on Amazon called Edeuoey but it looks like they are no longer there.. if you search “pack chair” on Amazon you’ll get loads of options though.
