We camped there a few years ago. I love that campground and whole area. Pro tip: use that jetboil thing to boil water, and then you’ll have all you need in that area.
I live in Northwestern Arkansas & have ridden roads like these all my life - they are beautiful - not much traffic & as twisty as can be... you ought to stop by Eureka Springs sometime. Heber Springs is worth a visit too. Peace.
Thanks Tim. Arkansas is beautiful and has a nice state parks system. The park service puts out a brochure on motorcycling in AR. I did a 6-park circuit through western AR a few years ago and it was very nice. I was told the Buffalo National River region was cool.
My home state! There really is some good riding in northern and western Arkansas and the Ozarks in general. Great that you highlighted this area. Safe travels.
"Hey I'm lost", 🤣now that's when the adventure begins. Beautiful country, cool Aussie style river crossing, narrow back lane bridge, and your on dirt. Heaven can wait because Tim is at adventure motorcycle heaven. Nice Vlog Tim. I look forward to meeting you some day when our paths cross. Edit: TY for the book recommendation just got it on Audible and will give it a listen.
Been on the paved roads many times. Highway 123 into Mt. Judea is called the Little Dragon. Very fun roads in that area with awesome scenery. Live close to the area and take full advantage of it. Great content, as always, Tim.
My part of the state too! Ride the area with a old college buddy who lives in Dover. I live just south of Dardenelle. I enjoy riding the ozarks and the Ouachita National Forests. Check out the little Missouri falls in the Quachita’s! You’ve only scratched the surface of all the areas in Arkansas
wow, six finger water falls was nice, but the second one you found was incredible. That second camp sight was a little better than pretty good in my opinion, enjoy.
Tim my man! Took my first real adv camp ride from FL to western NC. Rain, sun, fog. I'm really stoked you're back enjoying the best life has to offer. Nature at its best. Like the "lost" part. Stay cool brother.
Great adventure in the green backwoods of Arkansas! I am getting more and more convinced that I need to venture east of the Mississippi with my motorcycle travels! Lovely campsites and twisty roads, looks wonderful. Really great to see you happy in your natural habitat!! Hugs from Nancy in Colorado.
Thanks for sharing the name of the falls, a lot of people wont tell where they are which I understand that but at the same time that is a lot of the reason I watch ADV videos is to get ideas about places to go. AR & MO have some really nice roads
Good video. Arkansas does have a lot to offer for adventures. Another place is around the Albert Pike area , little Missouri falls , shady lake and many other cool places to ride and camp 👍✌️
Tim , nice to see you getting back to your original style videos, . I love watching your videos mostly because you always find water of some kind and included it in your videos nice job Tim.
Hey Tim! It's great to see you out traveling and camping again--especially after all the bike issues you had to deal with. Hopefully I can catch up with you on the road sometime. I'm currently traveling to Montana. I never miss an episode; keep up the great work!
Tim it's awesome to see you in my neck of the woods yes I've been on all the roads you talked about Arkansas is a beautiful state highly underrated and I know the road that you got lost on good luck man thanks for visiting my state!
What a beautiful area to get lost. You're really motivating me to get out on two wheels and camp again; now if I could just get a decent way to bring my 4-legged best friend. Great video and editing!
Love this! I rolled thru the Ozarks last week on my way to Texas and it was beautiful! I am heading back to Wisconsin from Texas starting next week and I adjusted my route home so I could go thru the Ozarks again. Ride safe!!
Sitting here watching this with my morning coffee and about to head out for a 2.5hr ride today, gets me excited, thanks again brother for taking us along this part of your journey, Ozarks are underrated I agree
@@FTAAdventures definitely, live in W. WA so this is a slightly different route I normally ride around the Olympic National Forest, I've seen your video when you were up this way.
I think it was the day before the start of this video that me and my buddy rode into the gas station in Deer AR on our DS bikes and ran into you. Glad to see you also were out and about enjoying the same outstanding weather we were after that rain moved out. Couldn't ask for better weather for sure! Good to meet you and get introduced to your channel.
Very calming videos to watch after a busy day. I really enjoy them bud, please keep them coming. And the Lost or mishap incidents do make some of the best ones. You handle it well. Cheers Americano Amigo.
My home state. The hwy you was on was hwy 123 that runs east and west of hwy scenic 7. Been to your campground many times. Fall time is absolutely beautiful.
Wow, look at what you found while lost! Funny how it works out like that sometimes. Just incredible scenery. Might be worth downloading a free app (can't post it here because my comments keep getting removed) based on open street maps that let you download for offline use states/countries of your choice. I've tested it in airplane mode using turn-by-turn and recently while camping without cell service near the TN/NC border. It showed elevation, satellites in use, trails, FS roads, etc. In any event, thank you, as always, for sharing your journey. Ride safe; God bless.
I did my first motorcycle trip into the Ouichita and Ozark National Forests in Arkansas a couple weeks ago. Very impressive, I need to go back and explore the area again. I took 123 into Mt Judea as well, one of the best roads of the trip!
Green must be the colour of happiness and calm - those opening shots are awesome. Watching you tear down camp is like being there! Great editing too Tim.Take care.
Nice change of scenery Tim! I like how you cover your bike while out camping. I always cover mine too when on tour/trip. Keeps it dry and reduces theft risk:)
Highly recommend Harrison AR KOA if you're in the area. Owned by a cool mother daughter team. I went there for 3 days to do laundry & shower, stayed 10 days. I'm not an ADVer but would have enjoyed this day with you. I did Scenic Highway 7, beautiful. I would like to see in your videos, especially this one, how you find campgrounds. Thank you for another uplifting video. I needed that today!
Looks like we need to plan a trip to Arkansas. Looks like some pretty good riding. There's so many beautiful places in this country that you really can't go wrong with any direction you choose to ride in. Maybe one day we'll be free to ride whatever we want 🤞 great video! Keep them coming 👊
I live close to Arkansas and I've spent a lot of time and gas there! Like you said, its underrated. Did you get to ride the Talimena scenic byway? That's the proper way to get from Oklahoma to Arkansas, and there's a state park on the Oklahoma end with a decent campground, clean showers, etc. Great video, and I hope you enjoyed Arkansas!
Hi Tim this video just tells me you have to get your water first and get a filter and keep it allways on your bike. Can you make a video telling us how and what to use to tie your laugage to the bike ?. Thanks
Big bike Tim... lotsa room for camping gear.. My KTM 350 exc does not have that kind of room... On another note... Have you tried the "Gaia" app for routes? We just came back from doing the "Smokey Mountains 500" route and that was a good trip.. 2 wheeled campgrounds...
Great inspiration and video footage as always! I try to load Google offline maps on WiFi for areas I'm exploring when I might have spotty cell service or when I go abroad when cell service is expensive.
Given the video, you must be home. So, welcome home 😉 Great video, btw. But, I wonder how deep into those roads you would have gone if you knew what was going on with your drivetrain? What we don't know won't hurt us, hahaha. Ride safe my friend.
Hi Tim, I enjoyed your vid but also was carefully watching you tear down and put up your Lone Rider Tent. I have purchased one based on your recommendation, but havent had the chance to set it up yet. I was curious about the tent fly, did you just stuff it into the bag after rolling the tent up.?
How many miles do you have on your bike now? It’s been awhile since I have been on your channel. It’s great and glad to be back. Be safe and keep up the great work.
Hi Tim! Another great video! Thank you! I live in Louisana, and I visit Ozark NF several times a year to ride its fabulous unpaved routes. I was wondering if you track your routes? I would love to try the ones you rode.
Super! Some (hopefully surmountable!) adversity makes all the difference, It's the difference between an adventure and "tourism." Get some iodine pills for water treatment? That way you could've stayed where you already were, no? (And also, a Zumo XT ;-)
We camped there a few years ago. I love that campground and whole area.
Pro tip: use that jetboil thing to boil water, and then you’ll have all you need in that area.
As long as you have fuel, you are on the right road. Thank you for the vid.
I live in Northwestern Arkansas & have ridden roads like these all my life - they are beautiful - not much traffic & as twisty as can be... you ought to stop by Eureka Springs sometime. Heber Springs is worth a visit too. Peace.
Thanks Tim! Good seeing you again. I would love to ride there.
Beautiful green trees and birds chirping in the morning. I will take that over any city any day.
Thanks Tim. Arkansas is beautiful and has a nice state parks system. The park service puts out a brochure on motorcycling in AR. I did a 6-park circuit through western AR a few years ago and it was very nice. I was told the Buffalo National River region was cool.

Good to see the bike all working well again and thanks for bringing us the sights.
More awesome motivation to get out and ride! I always look forward to your new videos. Proudly sporting my new FTA ballcap around town, too.
“I think I’m going to take the long way.” Amen, brother. Glad to see this style of content back on the channel. Well done.
Thank you my friend!
Great to see you out and about ,Tim,, and looking more confident as time goes on .
Great scenery for sure.

100% good stuff Tim. Always inspiring. The sounds the vibe. Especially the morning coffee. All the best to you.
That is the one advantage of a mapping GPS over Google Maps, no cell required. Looked like a great adventure.
I was there a month ago. Loved it

Just wrapped up my 1600 mile round trip in the north east tim. Brought your basics of motocamping book to read around the fire as is tradition
Nice! Hope the trip went well!
Some of my favorite rides are in NW Arkansas
Great video, you've opened my perspective on Arkansas. Thanks for sharing
Great video Tim! Thanks for sharing it with us all. That was some real pretty country you where in.
What a beautiful area to get lost. You're really motivating me to get out on two wheels and camp again; now if I could just get a decent way to bring my 4-legged best friend. Great video and editing!
Get a moto mule single rear wheel trailer and build a box for your 4 leg friend
You were right down the road from us. Glad you got to experience the area. Arkansas is a true motorcycle mecca. ride safe and be careful out there.
Yes it was!

I live in this area. It is a hidden treasure. Hope you made it to Ponca and the Jasper area. Thank you for the video Tim.
Welcome to Arkansas. There's some fantastic on and off road riding all around the state. I've seen most of it on my DR650
Very cool!

@@artmchugh5644 😂 maybe you're right 😁
Arkansas is an awesome riding state!! On and off road!!@@TheBeardedGrump
Sure does look like beautiful area, sometimes getting lost leads to great discorveries.
Great ride!
Great video Tim!
You should always carry a filtration system with you when travel in the backcountry. It will always keep you safely hydrated.
Very true, not sure what I was thinking not bringing that
nice video... one of my favorite places to backpack.
Thanks! It is a really great place
Jasper is great riding. Switch backs there on hwy 123 that will remind you of Swiss alps. Dont ride that area at night you might hit a Elk!
I'm in Conway! Closest I've seen ya to me! Ride safe and have fun!
Glad to see you’re in good sprits and enjoying the ride. That chin mounted camera looks intense and heavy, is it, what’s the manufacturer.
It's the GoPro 7 with a mount from Amazon, not sure of the name of the brand.

Great ride Tim. Lost is good. I think my middle name must be lost!
Beautiful country. Remember Tim, you’re never lost, just discovering new unplanned territory 😉
Thank you, so true!
Given the video, you must be home. So, welcome home 😉
Great video, btw. But, I wonder how deep into those roads you would have gone if you knew what was going on with your drivetrain? What we don't know won't hurt us, hahaha. Ride safe my friend.
Thanks Norsefalconer! I would have done things very differently if I knew what was going on with my bike. Hope all is well!
Hey Tim, what jacket is that? A Revit? Looks pretty cool, I like the way the front folds up.
I don’t track my routes, I probably should start doing that
The first road to your left after crossing the bridge there is a waterfall that empties onto the road. It's called Car wash Falls
I’ll have to check that out next time. Thanks!
Could you share the What3Words of your camp? I think it would be pretty cool to plot them all!
Loved this vid, the I'm lost, don't know where I am and don't know which way to go is very familiar.
Love to get a copy of the motorcycle camping cookbook, but the site says it's sold out. Getting more eventually?
Check back in a few weeks, I'll be ordering more soon
You have entered the outer limits.
What do u do when u have leftover food and also using the bathroom? Just wondering how u keep the critters away.

Did you hear BMW is recalling GS’s for driveshaft issues?
You have everything you need right there to make a water filter
Enjoy life
Du you use headphones while riding? And if so how do you use them during riding? Nice vid keep it up :)
I have a bluetooth speaker in my helmet from Sena
