When my 2 passions collide, Farming And cycling!!! Bales are stacked like that incase it rains to keep bottom ones dry and easier to load when they clear the field 🚴🏻🚜
The first signs of autumn section in Letchworth intrigued me - it looked like you were surrounded by Common Lime trees on both sides of the road. They ought to keep their leaves for another couple of months but I saw on a weather forecast and summary that the SE of England had only had 17% of the rain that would normally be expected over (??? July & August, I think they said) whereas most of the north, from Manchester upwards, had in excess of 200% of what would be expected. So I think the trees were dropping leaves because of water stress and to conserve moisture. I could, of course, be completely wrong - I believe I may have been once, 25 years ago. (joke!) Always enjoyable to see and hear you. Ise - invest in new spokes, all of the right length, ideally from the same production run if you want to be fussy about them.
No that’s super interesting, so many of my plants have been stressed this summer. Hydrangeas didn’t flourish (although mine are planted next to a row of pleached trees which I think GUZZLED anything I soaked the beds with). Haha. I think Ise will be changing up his spokes 😂 a valiant effort. Thanks for watching, aa ever!
