Good thoughts on this video. As for riding in winter you can get raceblade mudguards that easily attach, or if u still have your old bike use that in Dec/Jan - that's what I do and most ppl in my club.
Thanks mark! The race blade mudguard is a great shout I’m definitely going to look into this! Wish I still had my old bike but I sold it unfortunately 🥹 rookie mistake!
Keep up the great work Max and enjoyed your last two videos. I'm at the different end of the age scale (I'm 69 years old), but a keen cyclist. Just subscribed so look forward to more content. 👍
Thank you Steve that means a lot! 🙌 Really glad you enjoyed the videos, will be more soon for sure! What sort of cycling do you do? Or is it a bit of everything?
Thank you for the tips mate! Will have a look into the DHB bibs for sure 🙌 unfortunately I sold the Triban after I got the propel, not the best move in hindsight!
Good Video mate! I would recommend you to higher the brightness of your video so your face is not completly dark. In addition lower the music to -20db or even lower (depends on the song and video scene). Other than that, keep up the content, learn from other big creators, improve every video and you will get big! Good entertainment.
I have the same tendency, where I'm deciding to go on a nice relaxing ride. But as soon as I get on the bike, I end up doing almost max effort, because I just enjoy it so much. If you've got any tips on making slower riding more enjoyable, please let me know!
I’ve found that having a bike computer (my watch) in front of me displaying heart rate keeps me in check as it’s there front and centre! Also doing multiple rides a week has helped as it means I can do one ‘easy’ and one ‘hard’ rather than just doing one all out ride! Work in progress though!
@@mhb.trains I actually dont, if I listen to music I agree its distracting and I you cant hear what is going on around you so well but audio books are a lot quieter and dont have constant loud sound. Should definitely be a bit more cautious but I love cycling with audio books
@mhb.trains I'm really liking it a lot. Putting a few hundred miles on it a month since it really only gets ridden on the weekends, the F95 is attached to my Wahoo that I ride 3x a week inside in the evening. I put 240k/150mi on it over a weekend. Not the most comfortable for longer rides since it's a race bike, but still a lot of fun.
Ah nice! That’s ideal having one setup on a turbo and one setup ready to ride at the weekends! What was the main difference you noticed in the two bikes out of interest?
@mhb.trains well one is a 9spd aluminum frame bike, the other is 12spd Di2 carbon Bike with 42mm carbon wheels so a ton of differences. Would be interesting now to take the f95 off the trainer and take it for a spin.
Thanks Dan! This was shot on an Insta 360 x3! By no means the best but still figuring out the best way to capture stuff! All edited in Premiere Pro 🙌 hope that helps!
Yeah to be fair I’ve always thought that too 😂 its a size M but size L is way too big for my head! Just could never be bothered to buy another helmet 😭Any helmet recommendations? Definitely think the decathlon sizing is a little weird!

Love this mate! Let’s get those subs higher than your heart rate 😂
Thank you brother! Didn’t think numbers could go any higher than my heart rate 😂
Regarding bibs, try some DHB Aeron Lab from Wiggle/Chainreactioncycles.
And ride your Triban during the winter, perhaps with a waxed chain.
Thank you for the tips mate! Will have a look into the DHB bibs for sure 🙌 unfortunately I sold the Triban after I got the propel, not the best move in hindsight!
Love it👏 great vid man
Thank you mate 🙌
A bum saver will be useful if you don’t want to use full mudguards. Also Maap is good for big shorts they cost a bit but they will last for years
Ah thanks man that’s a great shout! Seen a lot of people repping the Maap kit but always been scared off by the price 😂 maybe worth a look!
@@mhb.trains you’re welcome mate no worries
Great video bro
Thank you mate 🤝 appreciate it!

Thank you! 🙌

I listen to audio books so you get in to the story and just zone out to the ride
@@cheweek-k4w thats a great shout to be fair I've never thought of that! Do you find it a bit sketchy riding with headphones in?

Nice vid again, I'd say ditch the lift music.I recently went full CF as well, mostly for comfort. (old git)
Thanks Nelson, appreciate the feedback! How are you getting on with the new bike?
What a trail
Amazing isnt it! 😍
I went from an older Felt f95 to a giant TCR and man what a difference.
@@dudefromlaveenaz I bet you were flying when you got on that! 🙌 how do you find the TCR?

yeah that makes sense haha! Yeah would be great to do a back to back ride on both to compare them! Glad you’re enjoying the TCR!
What do you record/edit with mate? Love the content 🤝🏽

Next up the TT bike 😜
@@SwimBikeRunStu constantly fighting the urge to get one 😭😂
@@mhb.trains N + 1 👌
So before you buy this bike, what bike do you usually use for your triathlon?
I was using a Triban RC120 Road bike! Was great and did a few races on it!
How much did your Speed change
Average speed varies but I would say it’s around 6km/h quicker on this bike! Could be due to better bike fit as well though! 🙌
is it me or that helmet is tiny
