Thank you for the unboxing. I also received my U50T two weeks ago. Lov the watch size and style and durability. I have been wearing a Sinn 856 b uhr teg on bracelet for three years. The brand is great to own and collect. Stay healthy and safe Sir. I will order the black rubber strap to have a set to wear.
Well done for getting it. I ordered that exact watch, plus a red silicone strap with tegimented clasp, mid May, and I am still waiting for it. Apparently, the demand has been so strong that they are backlogged all the way until November. Hopefully, I'll get it sooner. Love the guitars, by the way.
This could be the best 'beater' watch ever (G shocks aside ;-) Hardened steel, brushed finish everywhere, 500m wr and thin to boot with a decent size diameter. A great release from Sinn, I can feel it on moving to my wish list. Seems a waiting list on them at the moment, or certainly in Europe.
Thanks for the thorough review. These are, of course, sold out. The dimensions are astonishing for the WR rating. I really look forward to your follow on review in field. I wish Damasko would figure out how to make a watch of these dimensions... They are, or were, a case manufacturer for Sinn.
DOXA has some competition. Very nice review, In am having sleepless nights over this watch. I am considering delaying my Doxa purchase for this as it seems more practical, maybe not as a daily watch but less bulky.
It is definitely less bulky. For me, being a black dial, it's probably more versatile than the Doxa. I thought the tegimented steel might be overly tooly for a daily, but I'm thinking I could get away with it no problem.
@@ChillinwitWatches Hey men, how's it going? For sure, sinn u50 for a daily? Casual daily, yes. BY the way, I am currently browsing CWC dive watches, check em out if you haven't. Thanks for the review, camera work was good. All the best to you and stay well.
@@Joe-xo3xy Ha! We must like all the same watches, I always have CWC RN diver tab open, it's on my list! As for the u50 as a daily, that probably wouldn't work for everyone, you are right, I was only thinking of myself, lol.
@@ChillinwitWatches same here, unfortunately there is only so much you can buy at a time before you run out of money. For me, it is this or that. It's definitely on my list, however, they (CWC) have been out of stock for a while now and won't have any more until january 2021, yes, Jan.2021. This will surprise you but I am also a big Vostok nut, I am currently putting together a vintage collection. I also collect newer models as well.
That is how you can tell someone has money 2k for a watch and says "I forgot when I ordered this" LOL. Congrats for owning the watch you review. I can respect that.
Nice watch, dude. What a great size! Think that small screwdriver is for the screws on the captive bezel? What is the finishing like where the red paint of the hands joins the white? I've seen some macro shots elsewhere where it looked pretty poor, I hope I'm wrong. Lovely watch, enjoy in good health.
You're probably right about the screwdriver, I just noticed the retaining screws on the bezel. No clue about the paint on the hands, I'll have to bust out the loupe and report back.
They need to seriously do something about that clasp. I will buy one in a heartbeat the moment they upgrade it, until then, I will do my best to resist the urge to buy one :)

I need to get the strap too, they look killer! 856 is in my short list, killer watch and great combo with the u50!

Grats! That red strap is awesome!!! It's worth the wait!
This is one of two watches I am currently lusting after! Thanks for the quick look! Would love to try one of these on!
It wears so good! One of the most comfortable watches I've ever had.
@@ChillinwitWatches I would love to get with black rubber strap. Thinking comfort would be incredible.

Agreed! Same wait in the states at the moment.
Beautiful watch. Well done Sir. Enjoy
Nice 👍🏼
I also ordered exactly the same watch (everything tegimented) plus a black rubber strap. Should be getting it next month 🤞
Man I really need the rubber strap, they look awesome!
@@ChillinwitWatches I’m still waiting.. Meanwhile ordered a leather strap too with white stitches
Fantastic Watches Sinn offers! Thanks for the vid, love my Vostoks too!

That's a good point - Crazy thin for 500m! Never had a Damasko, but they look great to me! Love a good cross hair dial!
Fantastic watch. I wish Sinn would stop putting AR on the outside. It'll wear off. Give us several coats on the underside only.
I am seriously tempted to buy one
Do it!
Congratulations! This is such a cool watch
Thanks Ev!
If this had come out earlier, I wouldn't be wearing my SMP300M, now,,,
Great video, thanks,,,
Smp is pretty dope tho!
Awesome watch hope this will be my 1 dive watch someday
It can definitely do that!
Congrats, love the watch. Wish Sinn would update the clasp and stop raising their prices, they used to be a great value prop....not so much anymore.
Thanks!! What they need is a second AD in the US so we can get some competitive pricing!
That’s your watch dude! Wow 🤩
Totally!
love the look of these sinn tool watches. i got a helm vanuatu to scratch that itch.....for a lot less!
Used to have one of those!
Thanks for the video. This will be my new grail watch now..
Kevin! It's so good
What a beautiful Sinn. However Sinn should update their clasp
It's actually grown on me a bit. The clasps extreme minimalism had a bit of an upside in that it almost disappears.
In an alternate universe, all those cool guys from the 60's who did manly things with their Rolexes would probably be wearing Sinns.
Oooooo, I like that!
That's pretty spot on.

Man, that's some real watch-envy you're givin' me right there!.
Can't wait to get mine (got the SDR version). Do you know what the total weight of the watch is, bracelet included? Thanks!
Nice! You'll love it! I did a full review video also, the weight should be in there, I don't remember off hand.

Congrats for owning the watch you review. I can respect that.
Ha! It ain't exactly like that, it was just so long ago!!!
Had my eye on this one. Just a little too pricey in NZ.

Cool Sinn Pete! It finally arrived!
Thanks, suck s cool watch!
Great watch. Congratulations.
Thanks man!!!
That is a sweet watch! Enjoy!

nice review! what does it read on the time grapher?
I forget exactly, I have a full review video with timegrapher in it. It was single digits...

The clasp is actually growing on me. It's super minimalistic, very unobtrusive, almost disappears!
congrats Pete!
Thanks Bobby, I'm pretty freakin':psyched!
Love it, maybe one day I will get one.
Highly recommended!
Looks amazing! Congrats!
Thank you!!!
I. Love. This. Watch.
It's so money!
Congrats. Great pick up.
Thanks Mike! I'm pretty stoked!
What was the price ? Really nice watch !
Thank you!

Awesome! Enjoy it!
Thanks man!
Great video thanks. What strength of thread locker did you use?
Thanks! I always use blue, best adhesion to stainless.
Woooot!
I think that exactly what I said to the Fed Ex driver!
I have such mixed feelings about Sinn watches. Well made but not a fan of minimalistic dials.
You like the crazy busy stuff huh? That's cool, I'm all over, I never know what will speak to me until I see it!
