Cristia's voice is like some unfair computer algorithm that is programmed to sound better and better as time elapses. This is insane. What a singer!
She has an amazing voice but she isn't consistent when it comes to singing live.

@NorthAmericanScum I did as you say, and all I can say is that, based on my 10 years of experience of listening to LC bootlegs from their '90s shows onward, Cristina is as consistent as it gets. I really don't think it is a low standard opinion of her work...
Alieanic voice sometimes you can terrified and cannpt listen for a while (about 7 mounth) she beats you very well in many way more than you can imagine also she's got a monster inside like a dragon when it comes out it would be great massacre :)

Andrea gets way too much stick. He's never been bad just the bands musical direction late 00s (Dark Adrenaline, Shallow Life) never suited his style. Delirium and its style tho just works and he's fantastic on it.
I'm not too fond of death growls, but I will listen to Andrea because I love the combination of normal vocals and death growls.

@ Layers Of Time is the first ever LC song I've heard where I've thought Cristina wasn't even needed. And that's not discrediting her - she's still on stunning form but Andrea makes that his own with ease!

Love the band and the show -- the mix, not so much. I can always tell when the audio guys have never listened to a band's albums. This is one of those times.
Need more volume on guitar and much more Andrea Ferro on vocals. Scabbia could have been trimmed back a bit. The two vocalists are out of balance. Treble overall seems recessed, too.
That's why you should always have your own 'audio guy' ..

Then I discovered Nightwish.
P.S. Lacuna Coil is still at number 2.
Is he a new drummer?
Yes. He joined around 2015 or 2014 when the original drummer retired. He was the original drummers drum tech and got hired as a stand in for the broken crown halo tour and became permanent drummer in 2016.

Andrea Ferro is primarily a growler and howler. I'm not expecting opera from him. I expect grit and baying at the moon.
And he only learned to growl later in the band's career. He was what stopped Comalies from being perfect.
Andrea has a good voice. He excels at certain vocal ranges. Take a look at the REM cover they do for instance.
I wish they'd ditch the whole death worshipping look. It doesn't match their music style before 2016....I still love their newer music but still this look doesn't suit them IMHO.
It looks fine and it's just them keeping up to date with 119 show they played in London.
They're probably matching the latest album artwork. Besides, I like the look. It's very Gothic.

I totally love this band...but this new look is horrible. Her voice does get better and better...but this look does not do them justice. I hope this is just a phase.
