howlin rays!!! the OG Hot chicken in LA! i remember living blocks away from the chinatown location and being able to walk to the line that used to be 10-15 people. it quickly started becoming 20, then 50 and next thing we knew waiting an hour would be a fast day in line. worth it every single time!!!

I'm from San Diego and I make trips with my S.D. friends and meet up with our L.A friends specifically making Howlin Ray's our main stop. Then we hit up local breweries after. Hands down the best Hot Chicken period. The hospitality from the staff there is top notch. Pro tip Order the Louie Sando.
Eat at howlin rays then have some brews at highland park brewery, then hommage right down the street, and finish off at Mumford!!!
