You sound young. Good luck with the project and thank you for saving a piece of American car history. Great to see a younger person restoring old muscle cars. You have restored my faith in younger gear heads.

Go for it. Focus and just keep striving forward. It will come together. The fact that you have more than enough parts and leads to the story of the car. It's something that will take you to another level. Don't be afraid. It will be the one that got away in years to come. Man believe me i know. 👍🤙😀

I’m in the middle of a massive DIY 70 Challenger project over on my channel right now. It can be done and you don’t have to spend a bunch of money to do it. Although with the TA I would spend the money on the replacement parts and the donor car for sure. Anyway, I hope you decide to go for it, it’s very doable.

I just came across this video and there's something about a car and a great story like this that interests the hell out of me. My Challenger was a rust free, never winter driven Ontario car so other than cleaning and painting a million small parts , it was any easy body paint and put back together project. I would love to see this car restored, the T.A.'s were so rare and so special and they looked amazing in any colour. Good luck and thanks for sharing this video !

I would do a mock up assembly, completing the car as much as possible. Before any restoration. It would look far more appealing and enticing, simply seeing a complete car sitting there. Amazing story/history, and awesome about having that many original parts. Should re-unite with the original engine etc also.Would be really cool to just see it back together.

If you got the time, skill & funds to commit to restoring the T/A, I'd say go for it.. You have the parts for it. The Trans Am cars will keep getting more hard to find and more valuable .. I did an AAR Cuda and found it a very rewarding experience..

When your Self DIY , Money cost doesn't mean squat, ( your not paying yourself to work on it, so INMY OP) Cost is in PARTS, can be found at reasonable price, if there no hurry then hell it can be fixed not out valued by LABOR cost, people want way much money to do Body work. Sorry if me my farther charge half what people getting nowadays dam i be rich. Good Luck on your sale or rebuild.

I'd never rebody the TA. Looks way to savable. Especially with the rusty parts car being solid on the parts the metal the TA needs. Wow, cool fun potential.
