The way this was recorded and edited is simply brilliant; lifting up a pack from the tin while covering up the next one so no one can see what the next pack is. Really keeps you excited!
Honestly, I don't care if it's the $5 tin or the $500 tin, I just love opening Pokémon packs.
i do care. rather have a fossil pack than three flash fire packs, plus, I’m not even a great charizard fan.
@@Ravenxback Same, mate. But I'm in the stage where I can't afford any of the vintage packs that's why I said I'm happy with just opening anything. I'd love to open one vintage pack tho, even once in my life.
@@Baemax25 i mean I’m not the age to have to pay my own bills and crap so I can just save up, I have a summer job so I can make money pretty easily. I’m currently saving for a reshiram tin from 2011, actually good value too.

I had that exact empoleon tin and the impact it still has on me is unbelievable. The love for Pokémon cards for me began in that era after watching my brother enjoy all of the previous sets. So glad you were able to be just as excited as I was when I first opened it.
I remember when I was a kid seeing the diamond and pearl starter tins at blockbuster. Man I wish I could have got those ones! I know I have the starter cards somewhere, but I can consider them lost until further notice. Great content Rev!
That Black and White era tin was so cool, it felt like every card was a hit. You should do more videos like this.
I always feel like the middle to lower amount of tins or any kind of mystery packs have the best hits. Best of luck!

I think the $500 tin will have the best pulls since it cost more and the packs are more valuable unlike the $5 dollar tin.
That $250 tin brought the heat, but 3 packs of Legendary Treasures will do that.

I can remember saving up and buying all 3 of those LV. X tins when they first came out. I still have all 3 of my original tins today with the original cards that came in there. Those LV. X's are some gorgeous cards 🙌 I even have my Deoxys tin that you opened as well. Miss these old style tins.

Love seeing the evolutions from tins back then till now. Honestly I have to say somewhere in the middle, cheapest tins have surprises.. sometimes the most expensive ones end up having nothing good in the packs themselves.

Seeing that deoxsys tin is so nostalgic. My friend has both the deoxsys and the lugia promo cards that I traded him after buying these tins.
I also have the Lugia card and tin and I also pulled a Zapdos EX from one of the packs back then :D

Love to see loads of different packs being opened. Can I ask what you do with your bulk Rev, some of the older bulk especially DP era must be sought after so I wondered what you do with it?
For the 50$ tin, the packs are different depending on the print run. I had bought the venusaur and celebi tin. I watched a video to see if i should open the tin or not and the line up was the exact same one as you got. When i opened mine, there was a steam siege and 3 sun and moon era packs, cant remember which sets, but they werent in the good sets of that era
I love both that deoxeys tin and reshirem/Pickachu, it’s a tough decision… but I’m going to go with the reshiram/Pickachu tag team tin only because I know what packs it has in it and for $50 that’s insane!

I think it might be the Pikachu and Zekrom. It’s the only one here I’ve opened, but I got really awesome pulls from it. If I can remember, I think it was a FA Guzzlord GX, Secret Rare Guzma, Pyroar Break and a Secret Rare Gold Darkness Energy.
I’m shooting for that Tag Team tin! Super cool looking tin and they have some really great artwork in that set. 🔥

I’ve got that pika/ zekrom in my collection! I got it out of the Walgreens red and white mystery box! But I believe one of the mid-priced tins will win 🏆
I’m gonna have to guess the 250 dollar tin cuz I know that thing has at least 2 legendary treasures haha but you got the good version of the tag team tin! The other version has 1 burning shadows, 1 crimson invasion, 1 sm base, and 1 steam siege 🤣 so congrats!

I’ll go with the Deoxys tin for the win 🔥. Funny enough, I still own that Deoxys and Empoleon tin. I opened them years ago when they released: the good old days when the tins were actually really nice and you could also get them on sale.

What makes collecting so fun is the fact that you never know what you’ll get, from only one pack to opening an entire booster box. I want to say the $500 tin will have the best pulls but in reality you can never know, which is what makes this so fun.

I started collecting around 2007 when I was 9 and diamond and pearl and HGSS are the ones I remember getting the most, we did have base set cards but I grew up with a DS with pokemon pearl so I collected those cards seeing them now its such a throwback :D thanks for the video!

I actually still have the tins that I opened up when I was a kid. One was the torterra version of the one you opened and the other two are dialga and darkrai and unfortunately I dropped the darkrai and broke the window on it recently
