I honestly like it and i appreciate that konami did it. The damage is already done, as evident by the rush duel meta chart, but with this, balancing cards should be easier as long as they don't fall for the same way again. Shout out to psychic bandit. Really love the concept and finally got an archetype that really took advantage of the rush duel draw rule

Power creep a tough thing to handle for card games. They have to strike a good balance of power creep if they want to keep the game healthy. No power creep leads to situations like this, where the meta barely changes and grows stale, whereas too much power creep leads to the issues that the master format has where everything is out of control. While I'd definitely prefer the former, it is just the lesser of 2 evils, and I would like to see at least a little power creep to keep the meta fresh. Or perhaps they intend for Rush Duels to remain a "for fun" type of thing, so they're keeping the power levels low on purpose so that kids and less competitive players can continue to have fun with their favorite decks without feeling too inferior.

For an example of Powercreep going the other way, Ishizu Tear in the (for lack of a better word) 'main' card game. Pretty much all the cards that are part of this Tier 0 deck are less than 6 months old, and they've effectively rendered a lot of cards and strategies that came before Power of the Elements meaningless.

Days after days passing, I'm starting to be anxious whether Rush Duel will fall into the same pit like Master Duel. That is GENERIC cards will be the downfall of the game.
The biggest example of that is Dragias as you've mentioned in the video. Due to how good and generic Dragis is, there's simply no other reason not to use such an easy to use card like that. If you have to choose between using Dragias or Vanishing Heliacalriser in Galaxy/Yudias's deck, I think more people will still prefer Dragias even if it clashes the deck's whole theme.
Still, I'm grateful that Konami learnt their lessons quickly. Dragiastar F is the biggest example. Due to how generic Dragias were, I'm relieved that they limited Dragiastar F to only work in Dragons deck. I get why people complained and said Dragiastar F sucked because of that. But... I don't want another Dragias to be so splash able in another deck

The real question is how after having to reset the game due to powercreep they managed to release dragias as it was. Could have easily been discard from hand.
No reason to follow after MD so thank god they are slowing down on powercreep.

if powerlevels goes out of control, it would be as degenerate as master format so its good right now
