I imagine the Akh morns go through rez invul anyway but he stacked for the 2nd hit to make sure Id live as long as possible since the boss was so low already
Back during the EverQuest raiding days, Clerics had a spell that would just heal you to 100%, but it was on a chonky CD. So if we were fighting a really hard-hitting world boss, we'd have like 10 Clerics all lined up shouting - in a predetermined order - who was doing the Full Heal, and a few seconds later, the next could start, and so on. The tank basically lived on a rotating circuit of Full Heals for like 15 minutes at a time.
