"When are we getting our mana back" made me laugh. These are good changes but i agree, they should look into the mana economy and Drk will be so back.

Dark Mind is probably the best change for me. I already play a lot DRK in general but it was awful having enemies with no magic damage lol

I havent played FF14 in a few months and still havent finished the MSQ, but this was so hype for me. Havent gotten a single piece of news on patches or any other content on the game since those few months ago, until this spawned in my feed. This making me get back on the game again.

There’s still some fundamental issues with the job I hope they’ll revisit come 8.0, the damage buffs for Drk is only gonna make the double Drk meta that much more certain over making all the tanks viable. However, the mitigation changes is a major step in the right direction. Even abyssal drain getting over double the cure potency won’t make it feel completely useless in dungeons.

Do they even play their fucking game? most of these changes are marginal. 10 percent 5 percent healing potency on carve is like wtf its a burst skill do they even play their own game. Where are the changes to the biggest drk curse TBN? Changes to cds like abyssal drain? Nah they just increase healing potency which was already enough. The only decent thing is LD improvement, the rest is trash

so... someone correct me if im mistaken... ( i aint always the sharpest tool in the shed lol ). but dark knight is pretty damn bare bones is that correct? it can still run all content tho right? just not as effectivelly has a paladin can?

This is kind of a hot take but I think DRK should be rewarded with MP regen when they use mitigations. Like when you use your party wide mit, you get 500 mp back for each party member who took magic damage during the duration, or something. I also think TBN should proc a free cast if it’s damaged at all, not just broken completely. I was also thinking making the shield based on the DRK’s max health instead of the target’s max health, but if you say it’s saving lives then it probably doesn’t need that buff

in OT drk situation what if tbn doesn't get popped on an MT? I usually just forgo that, but then the last edge of shadow somehow gets delayed and u don't have mana on 3rd hit (torcleaver that is), I'm like 2600-2800 mana, it still gets in the pot window just very weird being delayed like that and idk why.

Why would they not add your mp bar to the job gauge? The only thing you need to manage on DRK is your mp.

I got a d/c right when Thordan smashed the screen recently, but I was just doing it unsynced for a sticker so it was less annoying and kind of cool...
