    great information about available material on the lunar surface. I am not into the obsession with robots and materials to be returned to earth. much more interesting is the potential to go to the moon and produce equipment to explore the rest of the solar system. how do we humans get to go? not so much robots as humans.

    Great talk, but I don't like this hype-train over-emphasis on 3D printing. It's a good tool for a lot of things, but not a magic wand.
    I'm glad to hear people are still working on these refinement processes and I'd love to hear more details on it! How long could a molten iron electrolysis vessel possibly last? What would it be made of? Could you just melt in an open pit with heliostats?

    There is a bad issue with your AV setup when a NASA engineer can't figure it out.
