Why did they let this go so far.. Feeding and harassing the horse. The guardsmen should have charged the horse towards him. I 'm waiting for the day a horse is poisoned because the tourists keep their hands in the horses mouth, fingers in their nose and fingers near their eyes. I have nothing but empathy for these animals.

There needs to be an officer at each of these gates. They need to strictly prohibit everyone from feeding the horses. You just never know what one of these drunks or crazies is going to give the animal. My daughters friend had her dog injured by someone who threw a sausage over her fence. When the dog went to eat it, there was a razor inside. Thank goodness the dog recovered.
Mary it truly is disgusting and completely inhumane what people do to animals. I have two German Shepherds and through training they won't touch anything unless it is given by me.
Maybe your friend might want to check into training for her dog.
@@ScottishBorn before I became disabled I volunteered at an animal rescue. The things people would do broke my heart. I honestly don't understand the depth of their cruelty. Every living being deserves compassion and kindness.
There are police and military soldiers all over the place! Almost every tourist is rude and they just embarrass themselves.

Open your eyes...there are police officers throughout the buildings, courtyard, the side, the front, the back, and SOLDIERS. This is not a circus performance, these are working soldiers and horses!
They need to enact ZERO TOLERANCE!! This was totally disrespectful behavior and it went too far. People nowadays are just being DEFIANT, and see how much they can get away with!!!!! I've wondered that in every video... hundreds of pests bothering the poor horses and guards every single day. Grabbing the reigns, not listening to the guards telling them to back off, etc. Millions of pests every year.

Yes I have seen this guy before and he is indeed a drunk however he seems to like the horses but I think its time that people were stopped going near the horses they get enough abuse, and what I havve seen is tantramount to animal abuse IMHO and as far as I see it s tourist who cause it, I have seen one hit the horse accross the face 3 times, I also seen several touists give the animal something then a few minutes later it starts going crazy its time it stopped its stupid....

Is it just me or...?! Why are the cops there, armed to the teeth, if they don't react? They stand between the gates and chat while one idiot harasses the horse, harasses the guard, misbehaves and is more than obviously drunk. The police talk to him and work "in gloves" and they release him for a reward. What if he poisoned the horse?! Police; as if they are there for their own sake...
What would you have them do? Tase the drunk? Lock him up? Beat the crap out of him? Maybe in the US, but not in England. There was no cause for the police to do anything except tell him to leave.

Some of the horse do not like being inside the arch I think the horse was quite safe

I’m not sure what orders the Life Guards and Blues & Royals are under when it comes to dealing with intrusive & ludicrous tourists - or even drunken locals still carrying their boozy top up with them. The Royal Horse Artillery are far less reserved when dealing with idiots.
And then there was the problem that the jurisdiction of Ministry of Defence Police, with their firearms at the ready, stops at the gates of Horse Guards. The pavement outside comes under the jurisdiction of the Metropolitan Police.
But I’m sure if one of the Ministry of Defence police were to, in the process of adjusting his grasp on his automatic weapon, inadvertently, pointed it at the drunk he might have sobered up fairly quickly or decided he’d better just go back to the pub.
He really should have been hauled off and hurled in the slammer till he sobered up at the very least. Hardly a great advert for what this country has to offer.

Why do you say that, the horse and the guard were quite calm until people started shouting at the guy, to MOVE. Yes he was drunk but at first he was a funny, he joked about. It was other people who caused him to be angry. I’ve worked in the hospitality industry and it was obvious to me, the guard and the police he was ok until provoked but isn’t everyone?.
Do you know what orders the guards are under while doing box duty when it comes to dealing with tourists? No you don’t. So, until you know all the facts, maybe you should reserve judgement cos the truth can hurt sometimes.
