Artist of any kind are like parents. They start with the image of the perfect piece in their mind, and guide it in the way they want it to go. But, like any parent, they soon see that the piece has its own ideas of how it should end up. Good artists allow the piece to "grow and evolve" into what ends up being even better than they could imagine. Robin is absolutely perfect! Instead of fixing what most people would see as an imperfection, you allowed the story of Robin to grow and evolve to include that scar. As a writer I can already imagine the story behind the scar, and how it made Robin stronger in the end. ❤❤
I actually think the texture of the aluminium balls on the wing actually makes it more wing like… love the shiny effect with the mica powder. Especially on the wings. The tiny feet are so cute too!
I love that you named him after robin 🫶🥹 such an amazing human taken too soon. And Fern Gully was such an epic movie, teaching kiddos about looking after the environment and all 🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶 couldn't love this more xxx
7:29 You know I went at 6:30 “googling” bats that reminded me of yours, Anastasia, and Ferngully were the ones that came up. LOVE ROBIN too❤ Glad you named him Robin ❤ from Ohio🇺🇸
Wow! I found you after watching a Sarah Renae video, and I subbed. I have used AI before for fun, but never took any of my experiments to my own drawing or foam clay experiments that I record for my channel (shorts mainly as I am a full time teacher, so time is limited to record and do edit videos). I think this experiment is so interesting. Thank you for sharing!
You might say "I don't have time for anything else" but I say: this is sooo soooo cute!!! Happy Halloween :D It was awesome to see you taking inspiration from generated art :3 Robin is cuter than the AI art tho ;3
All i can say is absolutely adorable i want one. I wish he were a plushie to just cuddle with. Scary but cute. The AI reminds me of the TY stuffed toys that have the huge eyes. Though a bat's anatomy, the wings are thier arms and hands. so seeing him have both is kinda off. kinda like he's just a cute little dragon than a bat. Sometimes AI doesn't always get the details correct. he is more cartoon like so I guess its alright. Still adorable. I love the eyes and wings the best with the shimmering of the mica powder. anatomy doesn't count.
I loved the format of this video, and he turned out great! You seemed much more intentional about your choices and the way you described the process with your limited time - so there’s no need for excuses! None of us would be the wiser. What I’ve noticed about successful art TH-camrs: they’re not always the best artists, but they produce fun-to-watch videos documenting their process of improvement over time. You should lean into that, and assume most of us here love art but would likely be learning alongside you if we were there. Just a bit of friendly advice. Keep up the good work. 💜
You make clay sculpturing look so easy & slick eventho you say differently! This is so creative, clever, cute. ALWAYS look forward to your videos. Ok, all must know, but i don't.....where do I find your community tab/link? TU muchly! 😊 ❤
On my TH-cam page (click on Aussie Crafter icon then View Channel), there is tabs for Video's, Playlists, About, Community etc. Anything I post should show up on your subscribed feed too. 😉 😁
Aah, I love how Robin turned out! Also, great name choice (it's been awhile since I've seen it too but did a video where I drew Hexxus not too long ago XD ) Hope we get to see more of Robin in the future!💙
Truth be told, I didn't. It turned out really patchy looking. But I think the base colour was too light compared with the flocking powder. The look and feel of the goir areas was nice. Also, it is not very durable. I do want to try it again with better prep and powder. Hope this helps.
I sincerely hope you reconsider using AI "art" even as inspiration in the future. I'm sure you already know about its unethical implications. There is plenty of art by real artists you can use for inspiration and as reference.

@@aussiecrafter Adorable!! 🤗😍
Did you like the flock on the project up close? I’m thinking that might be interesting for some of my projects.

I forgot where you live so I was a little confused. I'm sitting here in the freezing cold and rain 😅 greetings from Europe ❤
😆
Before you put on the wings the bat looks like Gizmo from the Gremlins movie.
not watched the whoe video yet but are you wearing a ten hun shirt? :D

Yeh, I don't think I would use it again. I found it stressful.
Am i the first one??😶
