World Expo 2025: Here’s How Osaka Will Bring Back the Crowds
The 2025 World Expo has been awarded to Osaka and plans are in high gear for the big event. It will be Osaka’s second time to host the fair, and the city is envisioning an epochal event that offers practical solutions to global problems.
In its 170-year history, the World Expo has experienced ups and downs, brought on by global trends and changing interests. Recent years have seen its weakening influence and a slump in visitor numbers.

Spent two weeks in Dubai and was not enough if you wanted to be really thorough. Also all my family entries (4x12=48) were not enough to hit the ambicious 25million visitors mark. (yes, they did not count unique visitors but total number of visitors/entries each day and even had schools, public servants and military personell "obligatory" to visit ... but yet not enough). Osaka can be expected to be more minimalist compared to Dubai by definition, but looking forward to it!
My last Expo was Montreal in 1967.....next will be Osaka.
I was born a while after that but it’s one of my favourite expo’s from images I’ve seen of the Montreal biosphere and habitat 67, I only wish I could have seen them back then!. The 2025 Osaka expo will be my first and definitely not my last. Have a great day
@@MistaGabagool I have never even heard of the Expo until I came to Montreal for this years F1 race and to visit old friends. There are definitely some cool structures left over from Expo 67, and I will definitely be making the trip to Osaka to see Expo 2025.

I have attended Expo 86 in Vancouver, Canada, Expo 92 in Seville, Spain, Expo 2000 in Hannover, Germany and Expo 2020 in Dubai. I am so looking forward to expo 2025-I hope the world gets onboard and puts their pavilions together to showcase their country and organizations
