Yoga Class 3 - "Belt Sequence"

    I often ask at the beginning of a class if anyone has any “requests” for certain postures, and the most common request is always “the belt sequence”. In fact people will sometimes message me in advance of a class and ask for this!
    You don’t have to use a proper yoga belt - any suitable substitute will do, from a bathrobe belt (nice because they are soft and easy to hold), to a luggage belt, in fact anything around the home, office, gym or studio that works.
    (Ever since the lockdowns during covid, I have always been impressed at how everyone improvises with tools we all have at our disposal!)
    The Belt Sequence is a series of postures that works on the leg muscles and hip joints and has a positive effect on the lower back too. And once completed, the body feels great.
