Exploring An Old Gold/Copper Mine - New Veins Found!

- A video from a prospecting trip a while back which documents some of the mineralization, old mine workings and new showings were found. Numerous adits, open pits, a deep shaft and dozens of viens containing massive sulphides with gold and copper were located. This was mined at the turn of the 1900's around the time seversl ore bodies were found and mined just 2km away. Video was taken several years ago.

Looks like fine grained mica schist. Lots of that stuff around where I'm from.
I've seen in other videos guys are using metal detectors and magnets to find gold hidden under rocks. It seemed to work for them, but who knows. You really know your rocks and minerals. I watch your videos they're informative. Nice finds. Good luck digging 👍

Are most of explorations on the island ? it doesn't say in your vids . Ive spent lots of time in the mountain's on the island.
I would say about 85% is island.

Some we may, some were doing preliminary exploration on first to see if theres any value.
@@911mining Is it easy in Canada to work underground mines legally. Here in the US government has so many rules and red tape cost million dollars to even operate a small legal gold mine here all of the ones which still in operation have owned the land for 100 years.
You could go in and work by hand, any machinery or major work requires permits

why so many dislikes
Because for people who don't really know what we're supposed to be looking for, but who want to know how to find gold, this video is very disappointing. He doesn't really explain what he's looking for or why, and every time the video seems to be coming to an interesting point, he says "we'll explore that in another video".
I wished I own a gold mines I would hire all homeless people to mine it an split the profits with them really

Is this public land managed by the BLM and you own the mineral rights through a claim contract? Also you have some guts walking in those old mines. Over time rock moves cause of fault shifts and weakens the tunnel walls and that not including the venomous snakes.
