2:38 I think Andy is describing a the Marksman Laserhawk Stealth, it had tubes and a pulley system - they come up from time to time on the big auction site. The Saunders slingshot he references is the Pro X, which was inspired by Bill Herriman’s shooting star starship design.
Bro - is it possible to contact you to pitch a podcast idea? Be warned - it is an off the wall pitch. Happy to provide details in the comments here or by any method of your choosing - thanks and look forward to chatting w/ you! Really enjoying your podcasts BTW.
@@theslingden OK - I’ll try here as I am not so good on FB or Insta. My idea is “Yoga, Archery, and Slingshots” - I have a daily yoga routine that I put together to help w/ archery conditioning and it is working wonders for my slingshot shooting. Breath, balance, form, focus are as important in slingshots as for archery. Don’t worry - no yoga pants or crop tops and for sure we won’t be lying on the floor for fake meditation (i hate that stuff!) or drinking caramel double creme fraps afterwards. The routine can be done indoors or out, in regular pants and a t-shirt (in fact, I wear my Buck 110 on my belt when I do the routine). For those into hiking staffs, the routine works great w/ a staff. Also, working using an archer’s grip for slingshots - a loose thumb brace and the slingshot actually drops (don’t forget your lanyard!) away after the release.
That sounds good, a lot of people mention how important breathing is but haven’t thought about incorporating breathing exercises. Happy to discuss covering this in the future, currently have a few things lined up 👍🏻
