I have not had a favourite band for thirty years. I am 59 and an utterly devoted fan! These boys are sensational! They take me back and they bring it forward!
Roger Daltrey brought me here! Excellent. Good job at bringing real music back. Its like 1966 morphed into 2013. If you guys can create great songs of your own.. you'll hit the big time. Having Roger Daltrey praise you is really something!
These guys sound and play as if they had been together for 30 years, at least. That's what constant practice and a supportive audience does. I can't wait until they produce their own "Revolver", "Sgt. Pepper" or "Let it Be". Bar none, I feel that they are the best rock band alive today.
To all of you coming here for the first time, I saw these lads the other night in London (for the third time). They are every bit as good as people say - for once the hype is justified. I am probably older than all four of them put together but I know talent and commitment when I see it. I fear I will never see them in the 100 Club again.
I'm old enough to remember the first British invasion--Animals, Who, Stones, Yard Birds--you guys are right up there with their early (my favorite) work. While I'm old enough to be your grandmother, this is the music I've loved my entire life. So to hear your generation embracing and mastering this stuff is exhilarating. You will be the at the forefront of the next British Invasion and I can't wait to cheer you on when you cross the pond. WHEN ARE YOU COMING TO NYC?
It's nice to see that they're Kinks fans, and not just of the slightly later, introspective Kinks (as good as the Village Green... album is). Great band, really love them and nice to see the mouth organ at the forefront once again!
Now this is REAL music - you boys are a breath of fresh air, Sir Elton clearly knows talent when he sees it. Can't wait to see the The Strypes blow up and kick the likes of Justin Bieber and One Direction off the charts once and for all. Bringing back the 60's, you guys rock.
Miss you guys, I saw you at the Bataclan in 2015 and it's still my best gig ever and the best night of my life, thank you for you music, she helping me at the college when I was alone ❤️
Wow! Finally something decent after all the mediocre bands we've had to endure over the past decade or so. They're sort of like the Stones. And they're so YOUNG!!! Excellent!
They are - London and Bristol on the 24th and 26th of this month, and Manchester and Sheffied on the 8th and 9th of next (amontg other dates). Details are on their website...
I want to meet the parents of these boys to congratulate them on raising kids with taste! I'm amazed that such young people can sound THIS GOOD! Bravo!
Hey there from New York, USA. Your brand of classic rock would sell really well, here. I hope to see you in the states, soon! I'll be in Cork, Ireland to see Elton John in late June 2013. If you'll be playing around that time, do let me know - would love to see you guys live! Best Wishes, ~Nick
Its bands like this that revive my faith in real music. These and The Blue Collars are the two bands keeping my music belief alive. God bless real musicians.
Saw these guys live in DC the other day. Freakin' amazing show. These guys have incredible energy, are great at engaging the audience, and work as one unit perfectly.
I really hope this doesn't get dropped from their set list any time soon 'cause it's a thing of beauty. Particularly now that Pete has a lot more hair to whip around as he is wailing away on that harp.
I really would love to see yous play at Harvest Time Blues in Monaghan in September , You all are trully amazing , Got your album Snapshot for christmas and I,m listening to it everyday , Missed yous in Cavan on the 28th and 29th of December . When will you all be playing back in Ireland Trully Amazing Loving the Music
you guys are great!! i'm friends with paul jermyn from caven and he sent a link on my facebook, great all round band!!! nice to see something fresh!!!!!
I miss the strypes. What a band.
Great to see a modern band looking and sounding like 1965.
I have not had a favourite band for thirty years. I am 59 and an utterly devoted fan! These boys are sensational! They take me back and they bring it forward!
Just a handful of years younger than you but couldn't agree more.
I'm 59 years, too. I pretty agree with you.
I'm 60, but I first heard these guys when I was 59. They are great. I want them to do Obviously Five Believers by Dylan.
All these teens complaining that they should've been born in the fifties or so THANK THE STRYPES FOR BRINGING US A TASTE OF THE SIXTIES!
I hear yaaa both eras are the golden age for rock n roll
Roger Daltrey brought me here! Excellent. Good job at bringing real music back. Its like 1966 morphed into 2013. If you guys can create great songs of your own.. you'll hit the big time. Having Roger Daltrey praise you is really something!
This deserves a replay.... a few times.

Yes, Definitely Yardbirds.
Love that little look that Josh shoots the camera at the end. ;)
Never thought this could¿ come back I'm their age in 1968 65 now Bloody fantastic wanna go see em Ain't said that for decades

Given that they have grown up together and their parents have been friends for decades, that's likely to happen.
as a 24 yr old i now feel ridiculously old and that i have missed my opportunity to be this cool. great music
Now my
faith in humanity is restored ...these kids are very talented
ikrrr
They could be my grandchildren and they play like my heroes in the sixties did. There is hope for good music in the future. Fantastic!
Great to see young bands appreciating the road carved before them and keeping the style of which the song is accustomed.

This is why I love rock with blues influences. Every generation or so we get something fuckin great..
It´s been 5 years and I'm still watching this!
Under the video it is quite clearly stated:
"Got Love If You Want It"
Written by James Moore (Slim Harpo)
Originally performed by Slim Harpo

this is rock n roll band for the future

Proof that be young and talented is possible ! Damn, such good music
J'ai cru que le Rock était mort... ces gamins l'ont ressuscité. Merci !
These boys know how to put in work. I'm impressed.

These kids are 50 years late with the British Invasion sound. But not a second too soon for my happy ears. Well done!
They are - London and Bristol on the 24th and 26th of this month, and Manchester and Sheffied on the 8th and 9th of next (amontg other dates).

Cannot wait for the WORLD to know about you guys. Keep doing what you're doing.
Its bands like this that revive my faith in real music. These and The Blue Collars are the two bands keeping my music belief alive. God bless real musicians.

I saw them in Cardiff on Thursday, damn they have so much energy live that boy knows how to play harmonica and get everyone moving
I really hope this doesn't get dropped from their set list any time soon 'cause it's a thing of beauty. Particularly now that Pete has a lot more hair to whip around as he is wailing away on that harp.
