Tanner Meierle they remind me of a lot of bands of that era I was there I am 65 The fact is they are kickass They make me 16 again a they are old and new at the same time
Grew up in the 60's. this was what it was like. This band are stunning. Pure excitement. Their version of Leavin' Here is just as good as The Who. how kids this young know all the songs like "Route 66" and "You can't judge a book" just blows my mind. The future of music is safe in their hands.
These boys to men will be a force to reckon with years down the road...you heard it here first. The Strypes are on their way up the rock n' roll ladder.
Absolute class, good to see REAL music and musicians still out there, none of this computer bullshit. Next big ENGLISH band are THE BLUE COLLARS, if you havnt already heard them make sure you listen, you will LOVE them, peace.
I didn't know this was a Motown song originally! I though it was done by The WHo. So even their version was a cover. Ive always loved the drums and guitar in this song! This is a great cover!
Why is it always white European guys who are able to perfect Chicago Blues? Muddy Waters and Bo Diddly are looking down from heaven and smiling at these dudes from Ireland! Expect an explosion when your stuff comes to the States!!
Saw you at Electric Picnic. you were the highlight for myself and my friend Victoria. Hope you guys stay together and the music business treats you as the gifted band you are. Keep your heads and keep on delivering amazing tracks and gigs.
A very minor Motown hit for Holland. While The Strypes (and The Who) do a commendable job on this, the best version was done by the legendary Ann Arbor Michigan R&B-Garage group, The Rationals in 1966.
If the Beatles and Stones had a child, it would be this band. They are incredibly awesome!!!!!
Beatles 2.0?
Tanner Meierle they dont want to be called like that . They just The Strypes and they are truly awesome (:
I know that but they remind of the Beatles.
Correct
