I don't think assassin creed in world War 2 would work because there is like cars and guns so I think world War one assassin creed would be better period
Thrust bro u don't know ac really good do ya an assassin job is to save humanity what about if Hitler is looking for the Apple of Eden and the prime minister of England sends u to Germany to recover the piece of Eden and fighting German soldiers but they don't need to put in big guns just a pistol and a hidden blade with more things
john Wayne actually both, Hitler and Churchill, were templars, getting money by the war to the templars, also they both had pieces which locations remain unknown, also Hitler was killed by assassins indeed, atleast that's what the wiki says, amyway, a WWII AC would be awesome if it's well done, something like using WWII weaponry with Watch Dogs gameplay, I dunno. :v
Kevin eleven duelist the hitler "suicide"can be made into a mission to poison or strait up kill Hitler but for the second option the player has to make it into a "suicide"
According to official AC lore Hitler's suicide was a body double, meant to fake his death. The real Adolf tried to escape but was stabbed by an Assassin as he left the bunker.
+Kevin eleven duelist unfortunately you Gould have Templars leading up to him but you couldn't do that because no high ranking Nazi officers apart from one were killed in ww2 maybe do it about Soviet Russia but then you wouldn't be able to kill Stalin and plus In the lore Stalin hitter Mussolini Roosevelt and Churchill and maybe the French guy sat down and saw the war as a way of killing everyone on the world and just leaving the Templars and starting from their with the pieces of Eden which i think is a total disrespect to the people who died in the war saying they fought for nothing and just ruins the ability to do a game set in that time period
This is a great proof of concept for a WWII assassin's creed. The people whining that you couldn't have an assassin with guns in an AC have never bothered reading about the OSS. The best and stealthiest gun ever used during the war was a special made integrally suppressed Enfield rifle chambered in the .45ACP cartridge. It held 7 rounds and used modified M1911 mags. That being said, I look forward to seeing where you go with this.
Peter Payne OSS is great, but look up the SOE. Those guys did the real damage. They used the Sedgley Glove Gun, OSS Flying Dragon Dart Gun, FP-45 Liberator pistol, the Welrod suppressor pistol, tobacco wipe guns and blades, strangle wire, an actual crossbow gun, a suppressed M1 rifle (add scope), weighted throwing knives, and paratroopers even used legitimate gravity-spring assisted blades (like hidden switch blades) that could be easily attached under a bracer. Being a paratrooper dropped behind enemy lines before DDay to perform assassinations and sabotage would be amazing. The majority of all kills could actually be bomb, blade, poison, and single shot kills with a few awesome long distance sniper shots (5 bullets max before reload terminal). So many towns between Normandy and Berlin.
I think they could have a counter/kill combat system similar to previous games, and apply it to guns. For example: In previous games, an enemy would attack, and you would counter and then press B to throw, A to hurt/disarm, X to kill, and Y to shoot. Applied to guns, that would look like: Enemy shoots, and you dodge and then press B to shoot them in the leg to make them fall over, A to wound and make them drop their gun, and X/Y to shoot and kill them. Additionally, you could combine the human shield mechanic, and kidnap mechanic by grabbing an enemy and using them as cover to shoot from. But it only lasts for a short time, depending on the enemy. My concepts for enemy types: 1. Rifleman: Has rifle for range, and knife for melee. Fires at medium speed, can't block melee. 2. Officer: Has pistol for range, and martial arts for melee. Fires at fast speed, can block melee. 3. Police: Has revolver for range, and truncheon for melee. Fires at fast speed, can't block melee. 4. Sniper: Has sniper rifle for range, and bayonet for melee. Fires at slow speed, can counter melee. 5. Mechanic: Has shotgun for range, and wrench for melee. Fires at slow speed, can counter melee, immune to countering. 6. Commando: Has SMG for range, and brass knuckles for melee. Fires at fast speed, can counter melee, attacks fast, always attacks two at a time, can climb and freerun.
I was expecting a good but amateurish movie, but this was really cool. Are you guys students in that field? Especially the combat scene in the forest was great. For the sake of criticizing something: the beginning with the Assassin emptying his gun didn't feel like AC but more like Wolfenstein. But that's a minor detail... :)
I still wonder to this day why Ubi hasn't touched on this setting yet. They literally said that in the AC lore, Hitler's 'suicide' was done by a body double and he was actually assassinated in the tunnels. That alone can power a whole AC game or, hell, even a trilogy on its own with different protagonists. One Russian, one British, and one American.
Thank you for all the wonderful feedback everyone! We're always looking for ways to improve and make things bigger/better... subscribe if you want to keep up with our next project (EVEN MORE AMBITIOUS!)
many people think ac in ww2 is wrong, but i think if they apply a combat system like uncharted it would be more realistic. obviously there are differents way to complete a mission. the stealth way would be the easiest, but if u are identified, it should be difficult to kill all the guards, maybe ubisoft should perfectionate the A.I. of enemies to do a competitive single player game.
So they should rewrite it....Mayde All the Allies and the Nazis are Templars, but Ubisoft could rewrite it that the Nazis wanted something "bigger" than the templars and the other Templars want to stop the Nazis.... And yeah...the original lore is shit XD
PiKsel SmAshEr They could always rewrite it, but they have said that they will never make WWII, probably due to how much it would change the gameplay with all of the guns. Also they stated that for Syndicate none of the targets were real people because the time period and now are close enough that direct descendants are still alive and might get offended, so the same would go for WWII.
as much as id love to see an Assassins Creed game set in WW2 (i loved the WW1 section in Syndicate) i feel that this is exactly what Ubisoft is scared of. They make a game during that time whats to stop people from simply running and gunning through it. It kind of takes away from the Assassins Creed experience. and its not like you could just remove all the guns from the game. that being said. Great video.
It doesn't have to be run and gun. Look at the Batman Arkham games. Batman goes up against armed thugs without guns of his own, so an assassin taking out Nazis without relying too heavily on firearms could still work. As long as Ubisoft does it right, I'm all for an AC WWII game. Just not WWI, because that would be like 90% trenches and it would be boring.
just an FYI there was one guy who used a bow and arrow in the war you don't have to just use guns. also maybe instead of having it easy to run and gun, maybe they could add an alert function where more come if you use the gun to make it not only more realistic but also more challenging. here is a few links i found on the guy: th-cam.com/video/3ZRVpYPFOl0/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/dQi7daUdHQQ/w-d-xo.html also you can use this: (soldier who used a bow and arrow) in the search to find them.
THIS IS AWESOME! It's so well made!! I love it!!! And at the end, Connor's quote went through my mind: "I will not die today; the same can not be said for you."
I think a ww2 setting could be done well. I think that the assassin should still have a melee weapon incase they need to do close combat. Maybe like a machete or something
I think you guys would be interested to find that there was actually a soldier who didn't fight with guns that much. His name was Jack Churchill, he marched into battle playing the bagpipes, armed with a broadsword and a bow and arrow. He's the last soldier in history to have a recorded kill with a bow and arrow, he singlehandedly captured around 42 Nazis and even escaped a prison camp. His fellow soldiers named him "Mad Jack".
Konrik mate those aren't guns this are Muskets they no better than crossbows from acb he's talking about machine guns guns in ac4 were one shot and took forever to reload

But sure, it works very well for a cinematic purpose.
