Illinois River Fishing SPRING 2023(GIANT FISH!)

What is going on guys today I'm heading up to fish the Illinois river. I head up to this spot a couple times a year to catch a different variety of species. Today we will be using artificials to see what's hungry. Stay tuned, and I hope yall enjoy the video!

​@alexrider8616 gotta walk through the woods. Not easily accessible. Also, there are immigrants camping everywhere near the bank with handlines in the water. At least there was the last time I went.

This is called the Ned rig you’ll need special jig head for it alone with the plastic. If you are new and want to chuck something around in a river I would highly recommend the beetle spin. It’s cheap, so you won’t be losing tons of money when you get snagged and it catches fish!
