- I've made it no secret that I love @KingGizzardAndTheLizardWizard and even made a day of the week dedicated to reacting to their albums. This #Gizzday, we reacted to their album "Flying Microtonal Banana" which is the first of three microtonal albums I'll be reacting to by #Gizz!

One of their best! Saw them live in Prague and when Stu screamed "This song is about snakesss! :D" everyone went nuts
When they play out Nuclear Fusion live, they've been having fans come up and sing the opening NUCLEAR FUSION line. Joey does the best job at it, but its fun to have the interaction with the fans.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the other two microtonal albums. I might be in the minority but these are easily my favourite albums by them. Totally sick middle eastern melodies mixed with all the best aspects of Gizz, perfect combo
And yep Nuclear Fusion is fucking next level! Legit get fucking emotional every time I hear that song

This album live sounds wayyyyy better
as long as its not the version of Open Water with the heavier, metal drumming. I don't know if Cavs only did that for one performance but it was vastly inferior to me, ruins the vibe of that song.
Now that you’ve experienced the album version if rattlesnake, please check out the BEST version. Live at red rocks 2022 will rip your face off. Love ya Walter

The boys take a lot of inspiration from Tolgahan Cogulu for the microtonal stuff. Highly suggest checking out his work.
Best Gizz album openers are the dripping tap and crumbling castle hands down
Open water feels like that just watched Water World. Post-apocalyptic catastrophic risen sea level vibes
when you start k.g, play fmb's title track first and then queue kg - the microtonal trilogy all blend into one another
FMB is an all-time classic. Can't wait for you to hear LW though. That's IMO the most underappreciated Gizz album. Nothing but bangers on that one.
Open Water was the show opener the first time I saw them, in Tilburg. The room exploded xD Never before in my life had I been to a show where the audience went that wild. Been hooked to seeing them live as often as I can ever since.
