Not everybody liked him. Shallow people who think money is everything liked him but people with more depth, saw what a an obnoxious and questionable character he is. But most people only realized that when he started claiming Obama was an illegitimate president because he’s not a US citizen. Just think about the fact this was Trump introduction to the political arena. How embarrassing? Out of all the legitimate criticism of Obama, he went with the "the first black US president, is actually not American" and then he and his fans clutch their pearls when we call him a racist. And please don’t even try to argue there was any merit to that stupid claim.
