Fun Fact: Hayden Pannitiere's contract is rigged to where she can't do full on death scenes in movies. Ex: When Kirby gets stabbed in 4, she still left writhing in agony instead of dead. So Wes had always left her fate open because of it.

Now, for anyone who finds it unbelievable that some of these characters have survived their injuries, let me just say that it is actually realistic. Like the case of Alison Botha, South Africa - 1994. Kidnapped, and intimately assaulted her by two devil worshipers. They tried choking her to death, but failed. They stabbed her 30+ times in the abdomen, 16 times in the neck. She had to wrap a shirt around her stomach to hold her intestines inside, and when she lost her vision because her head started slipping, she had to hold her nearly-decapitated head in place, on her shoulders.
That sounds HORRIFYING
This ghostface was actually the scariest one of them all. So menacing and so violent. They really went all out with this one and the deaths was so much brutal. One of the best opening kill scenes ever too!! I love how they did this one so different in the opening. So fresh! This is definitely one of my favorite scream movies. Such a thrill ride. Great reaction brother

Fun fact : the killer(s) are always shown on the main posters for all the films in the series
Only the last 3 ones. None of Stu, Mickey, ms Loomis or Roman were in the posters
If you look closely in scream 5 they show Richie watching TH-cam and one of the thumbnails is of Kirby surviving the killings from scream 4. Sydney wasn’t in this film because they wouldn’t pay Neve more money. Also they are in a bodega which are pretty common in ny (especially the 5 boroughs)

@@NewfieMovieReactions you should look at the scene in scream 5 aka Scream 2022 when richie is watching youtube at the hotel just before he goes to the hospital just pause at the scene where you can see him watching youtube and look at the sujested videos on the side
In the US, therapists are required to notify the authorities if they think the patient will harm themself or others.
22:38 nice catch. The killer said "Who gives a kucf about movies?" But Kirby is a film geek, I don't think she would make a statement in such general terms. I never suspected her, but a lot of other reactors sure did. Maybe if they caught that connection like you, they wouldn't have embarrassed themselves... just like everyone who was foolish enough to even entertain the idea that Tara was one of the killers in Scream 5 - even though they all saw the same opening scene the rest of us saw.
Love your content! Can't wait for more, but I do want to share a fun fact with you in case ya don't know, but NYC is a no-carry state, so guns are prohibited, however that doesn't mean no one can't find access to one. I do love watching Gale get punched in the face though, that's hilarious!
I disagree on this ghostface being scary. People forget that Mickey is and was an actual serial killer. He was beyond crazy.
Okay, now yes, I've posted my theory on every Scream 6 YT reaction I've seen, this is no different: I am telling you... Sam's therapist, Dr. Stone, was related to Stone - Jennifer's bodyguard from SCR3AM. That's why he got so uncomfortable when she said her father was the famous serial killer Billy Loomis, and that they made a movie about him. The way he looks to the side and says something like "Certainly did."

This was probably my favorite ghostface. Im not sure why. I think he just felt much more badass. He wasn't basically immortal like Jason and Micheal, but he was also skilled and acted almost like an animated movie villain.
This and 5 are the only ones I’ve seen in theaters, man the only thing I regret is that I didn’t see all the others I grew up with on 🔥

Yeah, Im still dont like that they are trying to make Chad the new Dewey, cause there's only one in my mind, and I dont like they made him survive because that meant no stakes on the main characters, in Scream 2 they killed Randy off which alot of people didnt like but it did add serious stakes, you felt worried that alot of those main characters weren't going to survive, but here in 5, 6 you can have these new characters getted stabbed like a pincushion and still survive. And thrunning towards her at the end when he has the gun, I have no idea what they were thinking. 🤦♀️. Apparently, there's been a controversy with Melissa, the main actress, Spyglass the studio fired her over a comment she made online about Isreal and Palestine, they asked Neve Cambell if she wants to come back. But unti then Scream 7 production is on hold.
Interesting. Yeah Chad is the new protector of the group in some ways, but also I think all of the Core 4 can take care of themselves. They keep a cool head and handle stress well and are good fighters. I hope they figure it out for Scream 7. It always bugs me when real life issues carry over into a movie series. But I guess sometimes there are good reasons for it, other times not so much.

if you confide in a therapist that you have suicidal or homicidal thoughts they do have to legaly report it to the police and there is one killer that may still be alive and thats stu moker billys partner some say the tv falling onto him didnt fully finish him. In scram 5 when Richie is watching youtube at the hotel on his sugested videos theres a interview with kirby which told the viewes she survived and theres specalations that stu is alive. Randy is comfirmed dead if he wasnt he wouldnt of gave the tape to his sister in the 3rd scream and his niece and nethew would know hes alive and not say randy was our uncle rest in piece.
This movie was the nail in the coffin for the franchise due to the whole Melissa Barrera/ Hamas Controversy. Even director Christopher Landon, whom was going to helm another SCREAM film that "it's never going to happen, it's time let go and move on."
I wasn't/am not aware of the controversy. I hope they can recover the franchise somehow.

Israeli as a national identity is NOT the representative of the Jewish religion or Jewish/Hebrew people. Also, it's simply a statement advocating for freedom to to self-govern, no apartheid.

In the mental health field, there exceptions to the confidentiality rule. If your client endorses any suicidal or homicidal ideations, the you're legally and ethically obligated to alert the authorities. Now, Sam'a therapist probably overreacted, but he wanted to err on the side of caution to protect himself and any other potential victims. If he had let Sam explain what she meant, then he'd probably would have made a different decision.
I thought it was Ethan from the beginning but never saw Quinn or the dad as the other 2. This one had some brutal kills. Since we know the sisters won't be back this was a good way to wrap up their story. They can always con't the franchise just with all new people but the storyline would have to be really good.
The ending (especially where he runs at her with the gun) is a bit goofy, but it is implicitly explained that they want her to be wearing the mask as they kill her, so they aren't trying to do so until it's on. I guess they're big on symbolism and want to do it "right" lol this wonkiness at the end isn't enough to take away from how much fun this movie is though! I love it!
You'd think seeing Sam kill his daughter in front of him would be enough for him to just shoot her on sight and disregard any previous ritualistic plans

To answer your legal question regarding the therapist: If you report to your therapist that you are going to harm yourself, or someone else, they are required, by law, to report that to the authorities, and get you 5150'd for your safety. That's the only circumstance therapists are legally obligated to "break" HIPPA HIPAA, whatever tf it is. 😂 In that instance, it's not really breaking it, though.
The therapist scene isn’t legit. I’m a therapist. If they threaten to hurt themselves or someone else you have to report it for them to get inpatient evaluation/treatment. And if they threaten someone specific you have a duty to warn that person for their safety. But she didn’t threaten anyone. He should have questioned her to determine that possibly but therapy would be the correct place to be for what she’s experiencing and reporting in that scene. If he doesn’t feel he can treat her appropriately he would have to find a referral for her that’s appropriate.
Randy's one of my favorites, but I do like Noah (from the show, he's the expert like Randy) alot more. You gotta react to the MTV Scream show. I prefer it to some of the films :D. Scream 6 may be my favorite sequel thanks to how satisfied I felt at the end and Jenna Ortega's acting is so freaking amazing. Just the way in the Bodega she showed tears of fear. She's on another level. Chad I freaking love. He's the new Dewey of the films and he's the heart of The Core Four. Quinn's my favorite Radio Silence Ghostface because she's so stab happy and her nods to NOES and IKWYDLS. She looked freaking hot during the reveal :D. I just wish they developed her and Ethan more and Chad/Tara's ending kiss was so cute.
talk of causing harm to an individual or having caused harm is a crime and doctors can't just use that "confidentiality agreement" stuff if it's in regards to public safety.
The way i had sm more fun and less issues with scream 6 than scream 5 lol. Everything from the opening all the way to the unmasking I loved. After the masks come off it’s a bit of a mess but I like it more than the scream 5 third act.
I saw this on opening night and it is hands down the best one since the original the fake ghostface at the start was so good i was like why they showing us his face right away. Fans are hoping for a future movie where the killer gets away and we get 2 movies with the same killer
As good as these movies were, 5 and 6, they do NOT compare to n1-4. Wes Craven was/is the KING. But, seriously. The damage people took and then were fine. Gail in Scream 5, got shot in the gut, sent Sidney into the house and at the end she and Sidney sitting at the back of the Ambulance? I think Not. In 6, the knife slices were AWEFUL. And 10 minutes later they are running around? Again, NOT. Hence me stating that they do not compare to Craven. Coming back is 1 thing. Coming back in fine shape, a completely different thing. And UNBELIEVABLE. The 2 directors were good in 5 and 6, but they still have to learn the art of films. (IMO) Nice Post.
It's so sad that this series will never continue. One dumb post by a star and another dumb firing by the studio. 🙄

I don't care if it's a movie from the 1930s. I still watch it all the way through.
Also, I would recommend Fail Safe. No one ever reacts to it and it's a great movie. I don't want to spoil it by describing it.
