Really sounds amazing and loud. I am 45 years old and also drive an M4 competition with full MPE titanium exhaust. I think I'll leave mine the way it is only because I don't wish it to be too loud lol. The secret to the S55 = m performance exhaust. Simple.
I just put an M4 GTS flash on the gearbox which transforms it on an overrun and add a bit more popping. Amazing small addition worth the £150 only I paid to do it.
I wish I could hear that in person. I've got an f83 with the m performance exhaust with the gts tune it sounds nuts already. I can only imagine what yours is like 🔥 🔥
trying to find more info on resonated downpipes. My m4 has Vrsf catless downpipes, and AA's equal length resonated downpipes, it sounds amazing when ur going on it, but low rpm is raspy, Do the little 4inch resonated section in ARM'S resonated DP make a difference? To buy new downpipes plus the labor
I have something called ARM in the front it goes from engine down to the pipes I think, is that down pipe? I recently got a car so I don’t know what happened to the car
Hey, so I have a m4, with catless VRSF downpipes, active's equal length midpipes resonated, with the stock muffler. My car sounds great, but would installing these ARM resonated downpipes make a difference?? If it is noticeable, i would pay to remove the VRSF and install these instead. TL:DR Resonated catless downpipe vs Catless downpipes?
Hey I’m running the mpe with the secondary delete. It’s has an unpleasant resonance at 1,800 rpm - 2k rpm under full throttle then goes after 2k. Did yours do the same?
This is making me reconsider my Downpipe options for the equal length setup I want to do with my current armytrix axleback 🤔 actually sounds pretty good. Nice exhaust clips
thanks man! Glad you like it, i dont mind the equal length as well. But personally i just prefer the "rougher" sounding exhaust note of the non equal length setups. its an unpopular opinion i guess haha
@@SimplyCarThings no i totally get it, at first I thought that the sound of the s55 was too raspy and rough but now that I lived with mine with the armytrix I kind of like the sound of it. The point where u pointed about how Motorsport in-line 6 are supposed to sound like this got me thinking because the sound of the equal length does kind of make the s55 sound like a v6 instead of a inline 6 so now I got this dilemma because of this video 😂 But one thing is for sure I’m probably going to go with the same downpipe you have no matter which route I go, it’s simple the best choice as regular Catless downpipes produce drone and rasp no matter what
Doesn't sound bad tbh, but still a tad raspy. I wonder how your setup would sound with a resonated EL midpipe, probably perfect haha. I'm currently on stock DP and muffler with non res EL midpipe and debating on the ARM Res DP. Might have to get resonators for the midpipe.
@@SimplyCarThings Please watch other videos zcp + mpe and you will understand what i mean 😂 and you will notice that too on your car with bm3 zcp burbles..
I love the valve open/close sound its the coolest sound. Yeah its so unfair why does my fricking M2 comp not sound like that from factory ...wow unreal sounding.
Hey bro big fan. this might be a stupid question but when do you speed? Like do you go somewhere out in the open or simply out in the street with no one around ?
Wow, brilliant setup up. Nothing is over the top just enough grunt, rumble, overrun and sweet sweet S55 engine noise. Currently looking into an F82 M4 CP, would you suggest earlier years (2016) or recent ones (2018 - 2020). Keep in mind I will be modifying tastefully. Probably starting with small cosmetics followed by aerodynamics, engine and exhaust mods. 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Older cars will be good if you don’t mind having no warranty or modding it as soon as you get it newer cars are good if u are just transitioning to a faster car because you still have the warranty but everything underneath is the same besides differential on the comp
@@ejora5763 that makes sense, but I’m good with procuring the vehicle and then losing the warranty after the motor mods. For example a 2018 then jumping into the tune, down pipe and exhaust mods. Or you think that’s a bad idea from a warrant point of view
@@oliverjunior4523 get a 2018 with the updated headlights and stuff, keep it stock until the warranty is over which won’t be long and then go for downpipe tune etc
And I must say that I also appreciate you for not being one of those gotta-have “pops and bangs” BMW drivers. That shit is corny and immature, to me, personally. So again... this shit is mean lol 💪🏽
@Simply Car Things New York is about to get hit with a $1000 exhaust ticket 🤦🏽♂️ Smh shoutout to those needing to have terrible exhaust setups and pops/burbles tunes just to be driving locally in residential areas. Oh.. can’t forget the street races they block off active highways/expressways for. So yeah.. I saw the $1000 ticket coming from a mile lol

couldnt agree more. the MPE is a MUST! I love mine, best upgrade!
Did you end up doing anything to your MPE? Secondary cat delete?
I just put an M4 GTS flash on the gearbox which transforms it on an overrun and add a bit more popping. Amazing small addition worth the £150 only I paid to do it.
Absolutely love the clean look and stance on your M4. Just amazing to look at I can stare at it for ages.
Sounds absolutely amazing 🔥 this video made me want an M4 even more 😂
glad you like it man! These cars are too much fun lol

youd love it man! Even the MPE as it is sounds great tho too!
that exhaust is def one of my favs after hearing it on your car! so dope

any idea what decibels this setup would be??
I love your new hair cut dude . This m4 sounds grate
appreciate it man!!
What tire setup do you have on there mate?
whiching tuning software did you use to get those burbles?
Wow i love it bro, especially with those added burbles which are so deep!
they are man its a nice rumble lol
dammm love that sound! its the little cracks and rumbles for me lol Huge fan of the M4 platform, looking forward to where you take it next
thanks man, glad you like it! I love those little crackles/pops too they're so deep and add some character to the sound
Did you have any issues with passing the Emissions Inspection?
How’s the smell going catless? Thinking of getting these downpipes for my M3 but it’s a daily

Hey bro why competition with mpe or sport exhaust sound different than civic m3? Even with bm3 i cant get burble sound like zcp and tone like zcp
Have you tried selecting the ZCP burble setting through BM3?
yes bro

im loving it so far haha, doesnt get old
Been following your vids for a while. I didn't realise I was not subbed xD. Subbed today though.
haha thanks for the sub man!!
you do not have any type of drone with the exhaust valve open or closed? greetings and thanks for the video
when the valve is closed its pretty quiet, but open it can drone a bit
Wow!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ i bet you get a smile everytime you drive it😅
its a wild experience every time behind the wheel!
You have my favorite looking car.
How are you able to pass smog?
im not able to pass smog lol

stock exhaust but do a secondary cat delete with downpipes

you will love it even more with equal length exhaust
ive heard many equal length setups and I have to say i prefer the non equal length. unpopular opinion but just my personal preference
@@SimplyCarThings because there is not alot equal length resonated exhaust with arm resonated exhaust
The setup will be 0 rasp. Because I can still hear some rasp at intial Revs and will make the car sound closer to a single turbo
I need it 🤤
Sounds almost as good as my N55 M2! 😉
thanks man!! cant go wrong with the glorious sound of an OG M2 ;)
Those rims though!
finally an m4 that sounds decent lol, how come yours doesn't pop and bang?
Pop and bangs come from tunes. Don’t want them? Tune it out. want them? Ask your tuner to add it.
It’s a non comp model
😱🔥🔥🔥🔥🙌

You should had created content while installing those mods. More videos for us to watch!!
i wanted to but we did the downpipes in pitch black outside at night lol so it was pretty much impossible to film the install

totally is! Youre absolutely right, it needs to be heard in person
yea mine is farty a lot more
Too much rasp with this. Try the valvetronic exhaust.
