    The Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe: both boast a striking appearance and impressive performance, with up to five seats. Whether you prefer embarking upon your next adventure in the Cayenne together with friends, or fall for the iconic lines of the Coupe, it is purely a matter of personal taste. But one thing also applies to our two biggest models: every Porsche is first and foremost a sports car.
    The 2022 Porsche Cayenne has a particular set of skills-specifically those that have to do with driving enjoyment. Despite being a two-row luxury SUV with a heavy curb weight, it moves deliberately and gracefully. Every Cayenne has a cohesive powertrain, but their potency and fuel-efficiency vary due to the sheer variety. There's a stout 355-hp turbo V-6, a gutsier 434-hp twin-turbo V-6, and a 460-hp twin-turbo V-8 reserved for the performance-oriented GTS. There's a 455-hp plug-in hybrid, too, that's quick on the street and friendliest to the environment. Inside, every Cayenne is roomy and sturdily built, Porsche allows extensive personalization thanks to countless individual options. - Alex Herrera
    The Cayenne receives updates to its infotainment system. With the latest generation of Porsche Communication Management (PCM) comes enhanced support for Apple products, including wireless Apple CarPlay. Android Auto finally joins the party, too. Porsche says that the navigation system has been revamped for improved clarity and quicker route processing. Plus, the voice-recognition software is said to better recognize instructions. - Car and Driver
    This sixth-gen PCM now offers over-the-air technology so that it can be wirelessly updated in the future.- Car and Driver
    Cayenne, which comes standard with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 10-speaker stereo, and a Wi-Fi hotspot-among other popular equipment-and our preferred configuration would expand upon that with thoughtful options. We'd add the Premium package that includes 14-way power front seats, adaptive LED headlights, blind-spot monitoring, a more powerful Bose surround-sound system, hands-free passive entry, heated front seats, and a panoramic sunroof. We'd also optimize its on-road performance and off-road capabilities with the Sport Chrono package (expanded drive modes and launch control, the Off-Road package (extra underbody protection and additional displays), and the adaptive air suspension. Individual options that would improve its style and increase its luxury include a set of 20-inch wheels, four-zone climate control, a heated steering wheel, a head-up display, massaging front seats, and soft-close doors. - Car and Driver.
    The Cayenne E-Hybrid is the thriftiest of the bunch, earning a combined city and highway rating of 21 mpg. It also has an all-electric range of 17 miles. The base Cayenne and Cayenne S share a 22-mpg highway rating, but in the city, they're rated at 18 and 17 mpg, respectively. The GTS has estimates of 15 mpg city and 19 highway. The Cayenne S we evaluated on our 75-mph highway route, which is part of extensive testing regimen.

    Just picked up my 23 Cayenne and could not be happier, both with the vehicle AND the Porsche South Austin dealer experience! Alex Herrera my salesperson was great to work with throughout the entire process and made things happen to get my order in and delivered on time for Xmas!
    Alex is really easy going and a pleasure to work with - he knows his stuff and is not about that high pressure sales tactic life - what we are all looking for during this process. Diego and Corey in the Finance team were fantastic and went above and beyond to find the best solution for me in the quickest time - very helpful and grateful for their efforts! I am also impressed with the professionalism, thoughtfulness and follow through of Frank and the team in the Parts and Maintenance Department.
    In summary, I would very highly recommend this team and dealer location!

    thanks for the excellent walkthrough! One question on using the paddle shifters - can you use them in automatic mode too or have to switch to manual? ie to quickly manually downshift before taking over without leaving your hands from the steering wheel - our current car allows that, so just wondering if it's going to be same with Cayenne

    • @Lamborghini_Alex

      Hi Petr. Thanks for your kind words. You can switch to different gears using the paddles at any time while in normal drive mode. It is a HUGE oversight, and pathetic that you cannot scroll through your “Favorites” using the steering wheel controls. On my 2015 Macan Turbo I could do this. On my 2019 Jaguar F-Pace SVR I could do this. I recently took delivery of my 2023 Cayenne Turbo GT and I CANNOT scroll through favorites using steering wheel dials. Very, VERY disappointing.

    Great tutorial bro, the best I've seen so far. I would like your advise on something please. I have a 2022 Cayenne Coupe, I've noticed each time I switch on the ignition the air-condition blasts in full power in the front and back seats and I have to manually reduce it each time using the air-condition switch. My question: is there a way I can program it to a fixed airflow that works automatically when I switch the car on. My second question: My tire pressure monitor sensor (TPMS) warning light keeps turning on after I reset it. This happened a number of times even though the tire air pressure is fine. What do you think the problem might be. Could it be a faulty tire sensor for example? is there a way to fix it permanently?
    Your reply is most appreciated.
    Thank you.

    • @Lamborghini_Alex
      @Lamborghini_Alex  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi O Z thanks for your kind words. Sorry your Cayenne has been programmed to shootout some high powered air in front and back. Try setting up your air setting exactly how you want it in the front and back and on the door by the handle press SET then press 1. Also make sure that its not set on Auto. If you have it set to AUTO and temp on LOW it will do its best to cool down the cabin to 59 degrees. On the AC settings make sure its also set up to hit the body only in the front. Turn off the center panel AC vent in the middle of the dash as well. Any time you change something press set then press 1 on the door to save the settings. Normally these settings save with the key. Make sure there is only 1 key present in the vehicle when doing this. I think the Auto button may be the problem. I normally leave AUTO alone.
      Also on the TPMS warning light normally should turn is self off after 20-30 miles of resetting. Some people say it takes 50 miles to make sure they are set before the light turns off. Also, there could be a problem with a faulty tire sensor which Porsche store did you pick up from that service know that you’re having this issue if it continues. Here us my email
      Aherrera@porscheaustin.com send me an email directly and Ill do my best to assist on both items. Hope this helps.

    Thanks for the great video. A lot of things validated, a lot discovered too.
    Few questions
    1) the Start/Stop is pretty bugging. Do I have to switch it off every time I start engine or is there a way to permanently switch it off until I decide to switch it on again
    2) There is a weird sound on the right rear side when the Car in not in Drive mode, are you aware of that as I’ve heard Porsche says that is a normal sounds (I have a video of that sound if you want to hear)
    3) What exactly the Traction Control (PSM) does? What is it used for and in what situations?
    4) are regular car washes ok to get the cayenne washed or we specifically have to search for a hand wash?
    5) Is there an Equalizer for music as I do feel the Bose system is more designed for rock and edm kind of music. I do need to enhance the vocals in classical music setting

    • @Lamborghini_Alex
      @Lamborghini_Alex  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am happy that you enjoyed the Set up.
      The Start stop will function depending on the outside conditions and vehicle use. It will also reset every time you turn off the car. There is no way to keep it saved to off.
      As far as the sound goes. Did you take it to your Porsche dealership? I am not sure what it would be with out being inside of the Cayenne it self. I do not typically hear any noised out side of the ordinary in our showroom vehicles.
      The PSM traction control will help prevent you from spinning out the tires. It is recommended that you just leave it on. If you do in fact turn it off you will notice that your tires may slip or spin out. Some people turn it off if they are wanting to spin out the tires.
      It depends on your own preference. If you do prefer to have a clean car and not worry to much about the swirls from the auto machines you will be ok. If you want to try an minimize any swirls you may choose to hand wash your self. I notice that no mater what shop you go to you need to ensure their towels are brand new and a soft Micro Fiber. I know some people who was it weekly by hand and do not have any problems.
      If I were you I would turn on the surround sound function. From there I would turn the base to either 0 or negative 2-3 and turn up the treble to 5 or higher.
      let me know your thoughts.

    • @Lamborghini_Alex
      @Lamborghini_Alex  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good day! Thanks for the kind words. Some buyers got the manual steering wheel and some buyers received electronic. It just depends on if Porsche had access to the steering wheel chip when they were producing that specific part during assembly. It is difficult to confirm which ones have it and do not. If the dealer confirmed manual you can assume the manufacturing plant left notice with dealership they have run out of steering column chips.

    Thank you for this video! We just got our 2023 Cayenne about two weeks ago. One of the things that I noticed is that the back up camera has very cheap quality. My 2016 BMW 4 series has better back up camera than this $100k Cayenne. For a car this price, I was expecting a lot better quality view for a back up camera. I’m just wondering if we got a defective camera or is it really this poor quality of a back up camera? Also, the sound quality of the stock speakers are not not good at all. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the option to upgrade to Bose Surround sound system. But again, for $100k car, I was expecting a lot more quality. Can the rear trunk be closed using a foot motion or the key? Foot motion only seems to open the trunk, but not close it. When I use the key to try to close it, there is a clicking sound but nothing happens.

    I'm a little confused about the vehicle wifi. What features will not work if you don't purchase the vehicle wifi? Will the traffic show up on the nav system. Will Spotify work without vehicle wifi? Unless the wifi enables features it is pretty useless to me.

    • @Lamborghini_Alex

      There is a Wi-Fi plan you can purchase to enable hotspot for people that work on computers from their car. Every feature in the car should be able to work without Wi-Fi.

    • @Lamborghini_Alex
      @Lamborghini_Alex  ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad you had enjoyed it. For alternate route options. Click on the hamburger at the top and click alternative route. There is also another button called route options and even a detour option. There is no way to see a summary of the steps and what streets and highways it’s taking other than a destination overview on the map. Which just shows an above picture on the Map.

    • @Lamborghini_Alex

      Try putting it in sport plus mode and holding down foot on brake and gas to floor. If you hear the tires start burning out, then it does not have it. Not sure if regular cayenne coupe has it like the GTS and Turbo GT

    how can i save my driver seat position and doors mirrors on my vehicle key? on my cayman gts i ve the buttons 1,2 and key. so by pressing SET and key everything get stored to my vehicle key.
    but in this cayenne i see just the buttons: 1,2 and 3. so how can i store these ergonomic settings on my vehicle key?

    • @Lamborghini_Alex
      @Lamborghini_Alex  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Giovanni while the car is running set up all the settings that you have mentioned. Next press set then press 1 on the door you should hear an audible tone. From there turn the car off and exit the car and hold down the Lock button on the key until it starts blinking. Make sure the door is closed and you are standing right next to it. This should save your seat settings to that key. Also make sure no other keys are around at this time. Let me know if this does not work. The new system has changed some things around.

      @@Lamborghini_Alex cool thanks. I will try and let you know. I heard on some forums that with the new system all the ergonomic and personal settings are stored in the personal account active in the vehicle and the key is paired to that particular account. Then when you lock the car, all the settings that has been made will be stored in that account. When you then unlock the car, the key you use to unlock it, will recall the account on which is paired. When the account is loaded, all the settings stored in that account will be loaded to the vehicle. It is that true? Thanks
