The coolest thing about it for me is that animation when you retract the landing gear, it looks almost like an insect. I'm pretty new to SC but as of yet dedicated fighters are probably the least appealing type of ship just because of how I play and what I'm interested in. I traded in my Syulen starter for something else because as much as I admire the design I feel like it got in the way of "living with" the ship. If I were purchasing a starter package today I think I'd go with the Nomad which has heaps of style and practicality.

I want that cockpit, but in a multirole with an interior. Best cockpit view in the game, IMO, with only the Prospector coming close.
The Khartu-Al, the Reliant and the Mustang also have really nice cockpits.
Great "Medium" fighter as long as you don't fight your enemies head on. All that speed and maneuverability is to get you at your enemies 6 o'clock where you'll doggedly stay until your enemy is disabled or destroyed. Wish those wings had some subtle movement during flight as IMO the ship is to stiff and feels human because of it.
Taken it up to HRT bounty hunting. Love the design. Feel it needs to be a little more maneuverable at the moment though. Takes a while to take down Drake Cutlass (why is this ship so tanky). I've started to prefer it over my Glaive. Hope they fix the bugged missles too
I’ve heard NPC cutlasses are bugged and have quadruple the amount of health they are supposed to. Can’t find the source on that but sounds accurate given the fights I’ve had with them.
@@EvenLease44 Well that is Very interesting to know. Certainly would explain a few things! Dreaded fighting them as they seemed to just not die!
The ship (maneuverability wise) isn't performing as it is meant to atm, it is meant to be fixed in the next hotfix
I've read that somewhere (think it was on Reddit). I know that a lot of ships will change and be tuned balance wise. I still love the ship. Would have been nice if they left the repeaters as they were before the nerf but stopped people swapping them over to other ships. No doubt some would have cried P2W or OP but realistically what other interim changes are there. Buff the shields more till that maneuverability tune *shrug*
i waited 5 yrs for this ship, other then the engine sounds, its awesome!

Just wait until master mode comes on board and this ship handles like a dream compared to more conventional fighters
