Right now I'm studying in ICAT design and media college, bangalore and my course is Game Design and Development, it is a three year course, but I wish we had more time to cover Unreal engine as our college is more focused on Unity, I don't think my course has taught me enough that justifies the fees but still it put me in the right direction and made me realise my strengths (programming) and weaknesses (2D and 3D art/ modelling). Also made me connect with other talented students there, so overall its a net positive even if I don't get placed well. For the average person wanting to get into Game industry I highly recommend joining a Game college before other things/courses. Of course there will be problems in your road but still not a bad idea. I am not asking anyone to join my college, there may be better colleges, but make sure the college you enroll in has some activities like game jams/ takes you to game events across India like IGDC, etc.

Hey could you do a vid on best game development\design undergrad courses in UK, it’s been tough finding the right one, and the best one in the Uk as well
Sir what about that if hamare parents allow to kr rhe hain game development/design krne ke liye but they wants game development ke sath graduation bhi krlo... Like back-up option. And then jobs main bhi thoda advantage hoga. So for that as your better experience which college is best(I know there is no best college) but fir bhi konsa thik rahega?
Bro I had done same thing, I completed by graduation and in parallel I learned game development. So it really doesn't matter from where or what you have done, 95% companies only need skills. And most important thing you need a good portfolio.
@@Abhishek.29 I totally agree with that but job interview main HR ke to khujli hogi na😆 ki apne graduation/degree kahan se ki.. so after these kind of things gives some trouble. Graduation to main bhi Krna nhi chahta.
