Rival domains is by far the best, I had already forgotten about the GHB methods. I've been following Serg for a while now, I'm about to run out of units to farm (around 7 left)
I’ve been burning up stamina potions on forging bonds and tempest trials for a few months now. Forging bonds is the fastest way to farm HM but I think long term HM per potion tempest trials is the best. You can easily use 100 potions a day if you watch a few movies or play three houses and do this on Forging Bonds. I went from around 1000 potions down to 20 now back up to 53 with recent rewards doing this since the start of the year.
MistY I’ve been playing regularly since about launch and I just typically use my stamina throughout the day and I rarely use a stamina potion since they made GHBs stamina free.
1) Download Nox or memu emulator on your computer and install the game. 2) Take Ike and choose 3 units to farm HM. 3) Record a macro for GHB for every day(there are many guides in internet how to do it). 4) start a macro, go to sleep, wake up and get 18,000 feathers. Note: better upgrade units to 40 to finish full HM within 8 hours. Profit.
@@ViperXm I haven't heard of anyone getting banned in FEH, but I wouldn't risk it. Other gacha games crack down on macros and auto clickers and ban players for using them
Personally, I like the Rival Domain most. There are channels like Serg! that dedicated to Rival Domain farming that allows you to end the map in 2 turns with 3 core units using F2P characters. Having 5 HM batteries on the map alone yields higher HM/minutes than any mode.
For some reason forging bonds gives a lot of bonus Hero Merit. You can just run some characters on auto battle and as long as they have halfway decent skills and are level 40 you can wrack up some feathers fair quickly.
Not sure if you mentioned it, but it’s not optimal to use Lv 1 units in these maps because their HM increase will be much slower than the lv 40 units because the higher lv the unit the more HM you get, and it caps at 5HM if they are at lv 40, unless it’s forging bonds. Otherwise good reminder video!
Yes, this is correct. If you are trying to farm HM on a unit who you don't use, make sure to level them up with the Hero Shards first so you can get the max amount of Hero Merit!

If you have feh pass you can overcharge your stamina for a longer continous auto in forging bonds. Just spend 1 stamina in training tower, stamina pot, and then afk for whats probably like 15 rounds of forging bonds
The HM formula checks the difference between your units' levels against that of the enemy with more HM earned the smaller that difference is so it's better to train the units a little bit(or use crystals/shards) to maximize HM gain.
I use another method to farm HM: Tap Battles. No stamina, in the last level you will get 5 HM regardless of unit level or your score on the level, and if you have several copies of an unit, you can possibly do up to 20 HM per battle (four copies of a character in the same team, all getting 5 HM each). When Tap Battle was permanent, I used to do every one with a team of four Cecilias. 25 times in the last level, 500 feathers. And even if you go with four different characters, it's still 5 HM in the final level no matter your units level.
Just been using Forging Bonds to farm HM, especially now that I got my first Brave Celica very recently so I want to make sure I have Death Blow 4 & Galeforce ready for Eliwood & his resplendent form when he's available. If both FB & TTs were up at the same time, I'd definitely recommend TTs over FB as you're gonna be working your score up anyway to potentially be able to reach the Top 1K for 10,000 feathers. :P

@@AnaroshScend You can't max out Heroes merit if you foddered off your only copy of a unit because you don't have the unit anymore. They want to get the heroes merit on Brave Celica so that when Elliwood comes they can give DB4 and Galeforce to him without worrying that they didn't get the feathers first. This way they don't have to wait to give the skills to Elliwood while they max out Brave Celica because Brave Celica would already have been maxed out. Sorry if that sounds confusing.
There is a method you didn't cover - writing a computer program to detect what is on the screen and click certain pixels for you. You can actually write the bot to detect with perfect accuracy when a battle ends, the state transitions in ui, clear quest completions, etc. You can literally have it run 24/7 without any human interaction at all.

The best units to farm merits are the units that can tank hits and can counter regardless of range and/or have high attack with vantage because in Auto mode, the computer is pretty stupid and will make your units commit suicide. Also i consider the tempest trail a good way to farm HM as it plays multiple maps meaning you do less stuff and get more done. Lol I always start watching a movie or play another game on other console while the game is farming itself HM
I got Lucina and Corrin at 9000 merit. However, I only like the Forging Bonds method, because it gives me Divine Codes. No really, I need Divine Codes, so I can give my Corrin Dragon's Wrath 4.☹️
Thanks so much for the idea, didnt realize FB is useful for this! And with pass it's really a breeze, can do something else while auto HM farming. Some people are salty about the pass but imo it's not bad, we get orbs plus two guaranteed five star heroes, not just some extra functions in-game (auto restart and extra s support slots). I'm currently at 970k feathers with no project in sight (I have +10 Kronya and Aversa atm) im looking for good potential +10 projects that hopefully become future-proof.
Forging bonds is good and all, but IS should let us play auto in GHB so we don't get borring by touching all the time the screen over and over the same way
I farm on Xanders & Navarre Map and on Xanders Map can my Camus carry the Team and clear it in 1 Enemy Phase (Buffs on Atk/Spd/Res required + Brazem Atk/Def3) the same goes for Navarre (only a Spd Buff is required) but the difference is that I use my L!Ike and please....don't say the others can be Lv1 because only on Lv40 they get +5HM and that means you have to play the same Map for like 1200 times (minus the HM they got to Lv40)

You can get a lot of Stamina Potions from Lost Lore by scouting as often as possible. You can also get a bunch from the My Nintendo rewards by using the silver coins we get from clearing the story.

I paid about $5 for an auto clicker. It works wonders and in some cases, can play while I sleep. Rival Domains is the easiest to set up and switch units quickly. The downside is, you have to make sure not to accidentally purchase, and in rare cases, delete save data. Other than those extremes, you just have to account for deviation desyncs on GHBs so that the auto clicker resyncs back to normal. Rival Domains are the easiest and safest to farm, because the game never really lags during menuing. The deviations happen during loading lag spikes I find. I farmed close to 300K feathers last week using Rival Domains. It was nice to do that. My general rule of thumb when it comes to HM farming, for GHBs, if it takes more than 4 phases, its not worth doing. If I can get it done with one player phase, and one enemy phase, then its worth it. If it takes more than two player phases, and two enemy phases, it gets long and can cause more deviations.
One more thing to note, I always train up units that I want to farm HM from. I can't stand gaining just 2 HM per battle. Its ridiculously long. Take the 15 minutes to train up the unit, so that it cuts out at least half the time of farming HM for said unit.

That's an option, but emulators and macros are "outside" methods. Some people may not want to use that

Yep, the shards are pretty expendable so no reason to have anybody at level 1, even if you don't plan to keep them around for long

I just did this with 4 theas and i got like 3.4 HM each instead of 5?
Hero Merit in tap battles is based on performance, with the higher floors providing more. It does not matter on difficulty or which tap style you use
@@klart6443 Strange. I used to grind with four Ninos and four Cecilias. Floor 100 always gives 5 HM on hard (if you go on easy, that's another thing).

Serg sounds like our only Rival domain guider now that Rybean1 went missing. Been so used to using the units he farmed with.

Yeah, I should have just said level the units up to level 40. Even if you don't care about them, you can level them with the shards.

I have a question because i dont something..when you have HM at max you win the 500 feathers right?
Every time your units reach 500 HM, they will give you 500 feathers when you talk to them in the castle. Hope this helps!
