I'm so jealous! SO JEALOUS! I had an SI for about 3 years and I absolutely loved it. I miss it to this day and wish I had it back. I sold it to a guy in Atlanta and have often thought about calling him to see if he still has it! It was an easy-driving car that shifted like it knew which gear to go to! I think I read somewhere that in ones sold in Japan, there was a tv in the dash. And I know that in some places, it did have heated seats (mine did not unfortunately). I had put a JVC Kameleon stereo in it and I even loved that. Any time I went into a parts store to get something for it, I was asked if I would sell it - it didn't matter which store or who was working, they'd ask. It needed a paint job badly. How Honda can make such good cars and not figure out how to paint them is beyond me!
Man... I had this same exact car.. color model/5 speed everything.. I don't like to live with regrets however I regret selling it 10 years ago.. Car was soo much fun!
I still own my 1996 Honda Prelude VTEC in that metallic azure blue-green color. My second car now and I've owned several Honda and Acura vehicles. The fourth gen Prelude is still one of best handling NA sports coupes ever and pushing the redline of the VTEC 2.2L and the sounds it makes is exhilarating every time!
those cars were so well-engineered. They looked like each detail was poured over and refined. How we got so far from this, with all the confusing screens and button-less designs, I'll never know! Add to that the greatest manual transmissions in history, and the zingy twin-cam motors. When that Prelude came out, I was a car-audio installer and we were overjoyed that they had those forward facing speakers on each side of the dash. I must have done 20 systems on those car.
So clean and pristine! It’s so rare to see a survivor Prelude that hasn’t been used and abused or riced out obnoxiously. I’m very lucky to have a 95’ SE, but it has four times the miles and more ‘character’ from the adventures of a previous owner. Since it wasn’t so perfect I decided to go full retard and customize it since why not? It’s still going to be somewhat restrained, still performance and touring capable. Thanks for the vid!
I have the same colored prelude special edition, same color interior but mine seats are leather. My prelude was pretty much just as straight until a year ago and an old lady scrapped my front bumper . A few times I've been nicked at the shopping center so I have a couple dimples here and there now sadly. I have the o.g radio still too lol. I love that these ludes are more appropriated now.
I bought a 92 Prelude a long time ago, and I remember how much I loved it. It was just such a nice little car, and the dashboard was dope. My only complaint was that I got an automatic, and the transmission is sluggish on those. I wish I had a manual and kept it. Amazing cars, and they will soon explode in value.
The transmission is sluggish? I have one with 93.000km and it shifts like a dream, almost like a modern DSG. But the fluid has ALWAYS been replaced by the previous owner it’s documented.
I've owned my 92 Prelude for nearly 9 years now. It's not the most viable car in terms of its handling whenever I take it out to the track but I love the car too much sentimentally to let it go!
Ive always wanted a 4th gen prelude and instead ended up with a cd5 accord shitbox with alot of rust but i know my next honda will be one of three either a 4th gen prelude, del sol or a first gen cr-v all with a manual (cause if i wanted basic mundane reliable transportation id by a ae92 corolla)
I want my 91 prelude SI .....like a lil go-kart......I owed an 89 si amd an 91 si.....last year before they changed up the body style.....if i knew them wjat i know now id still have both.....people are paying crazy prices for them now
I have the 5th gen SH which a lot of folks prefer. Bigger engine, faster more tech. The 5th gen was built to save wt. IMO the car was not put together as well as previous gens. Lots of rattles, thin metal. This engine has a reputation for using excessive oil, mine does not but has a rear main oil leak(common in 5th gen). Is your 4th gen a quality build with solid construction ??? Nice car.
H23a1 160/156 crank. Surprisedly quick for what it is. I beat GSRs,b16s when I had the stock H23a1. Beat a few stock cooper S SC versions and kept up to a 2v mustang. That car has a FBO pro2 cam F20b now and is WAY faster.
I so want one of these. Looking for a 2018 honda si sport but 90+% are all pathetic automatics. And can someone PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY A HONDA CIVIC TYPE R IS $55K , THAT'S OVER $15K ABOVE MSRP. WHY IS A TOURING TYPR R CIVIC THAT'S NEARLY IDENTICAL ENGINES AND POWER YET $22000 LESS EXPENSIVE. SO FOR $6K FOR PRINSTINE PRELUDE, I MSY SAVE $15K ANG GET ONE OVER A 4 YR OLD CIVIC SPORT MANUAL 6 SPD
This is a real Prelude. Not the result of most low brain tuners turning these cars into junks

Had a '94 one back in the 90's and early 2000's. Also had a 300ZX Twin Turbo. I got rid of the Prelude and still own the Z. But the Prelude is a great car. It rides beautifully. I just don't like front wheel drive as much as rear wheel drive. Also, the driver in this video has no clue how to hold a steering wheel. I can't stand that.
When I ill be dieing and the question will be what you regret the most in your life .. its gonna be selling honda prelude 4gen .. and i did a lot of stupid shit being 34 😂
Just inherited a gen 4 prelude from my Great Aunt with 57,000 miles on it. Very lucky to have one in similar condition.

I had a 1992 S model in 2002-2004, we did intake, headers and exhaust and 17” wheels - it was such a fun car.

Absolutely. The sound staging is pretty spot on.
I don't even have rear speakers in mine , a single 10 in the trunk and 6.5 components up front. All it needs.

Immaculate so clean thank you for allowing us to experience the few miles it has on it with us
The condition of this car is astonishing.
Ever since they were new I'd always thought they were the most gorgeous thing to come out of Japan
This is flawless...you are forgiven for using the word.
Love the gen4. Saw it once and fell in love.
Wish mine was in this condition...
We all do

the 3rd Gen Integra and the 4th Gen Prelude are such good looking cars.
I tested it when it was released and I loved this car with its spaceship dashboard and its 4ws

This is exactly how I remembered it, my 1995 si, same color and everything
Wonderfully shot, cool drone footage; that car is BI**CHIN'!!!!!!
Had this car in red for 10 years and loved it.
I've owned my 92 Prelude for nearly 9 years now. It's not the most viable car in terms of its handling whenever I take it out to the track but I love the car too much sentimentally to let it go!
how cool is this interior. holy shit
Wow, keep this amazing car alive, I love 4th gen preludes!!!!
Absolutely beautiful Lude! 😍
immaculate condition. i would love to own if.
Mi auto favorito.
Felicidades al dueño x su preciado tesoro 🙌🏻👏
I've also been riding this grade of this car for a long time❗️I envy you because there was no sliding roof‼️
What a wonderful car

I own 2 4th gens def the best gen but I would love to get another 3rd gen but this time the 4ws model
this belongs in a museum
Nah, you don't get the experience without it being driven. A rental service would be good though.
its actually a unicorn. My '93 is nice but this is NICE

Picking up a 95’ Monday for $600. Not sure if it has the Vtec though
Beautiful
Part out? 😂
Did u sell it?

😍
Do you know what percentage tint is on the windows? It looks very nice!
35%
can i get that cup holder and seats
I have a vtec model that needs a starter

the vtec engine tends to burn oil, this is the non vtec
Didn't the si come with standard VTEC?
No. It's the H23 engine (which is more torquey) and also sounds pretty good despite not having a VTEC.

El sonido del motor, se escucha como la nube voladora de Goku ☁️😅

3rd gen king

2019 tyres pretty fresh? lol they're 4 years now they must change them!
4th gen prelude's front is so beautiful but the rear end design's so freaking ugly. It is like a 2 big slices of pizzas without cheese.
The ONLY prelude to own or mention is a vtec prelude. Low milage or not. This is trash
